Is there anything that we can do to ensure ¡Dos! and ¡Tre! make it to the iTunes homepage in the 'new release' section or whatever it's called.

¡Uno! wasn't there and that probably really damaged sales, so is there anyway we could make sure they appeared there or is this entirely a 'Warner' prblem?

This is a brilliant idea! Let's show fans have the power

I will keep tweeting Dos! related stuff on Twitter! And talking about it with my friends, since I convinced one of them to buy Uno! last month :D

In my opinion we should try to reach out to people by other means than sharing pictures. I mean, we can reach all of our facebook-friends, but that's not enough. The amount of work required to get the attention of so few people doesn't make for a very effective method. Remember, a lot of people are based on listening to single songs from many different artists, so they won't bother listening through a whole album to look for new music.

On the other hand, if we could get radio stations to play more of green days music, then I think we could really see a difference. If we organized a massive request to the biggest radio stations to play some of green days newest songs, then maybe we could get some attention. If we pick a few songs that are hit-material, like stray heart and a few others, and then we all send an e-mail to the radio stations requesting them, everyone at the same time, they will probably be overwhelmed with this sudden interest in those few songs.

Again, I don't say we should stop doing the picture-thing, but we gotta reach further if we want to see significant results. :)

We could all tweet and email Warner and iTunes a LOT to get their attention maybe....

It would be great if for the Dos YouTube video we make we make it a "video reply" to a bunch of really popular videos. So go find videos like Gangnam Style and Call Me Maybe and whatever other videos are getting millions and millions of views, then make it so our ad (and maybe Stray Heart too) are right there to watch next. We can also comment on those popular videos and keep mentioning Green Day and provide links to our Dos ads.

i'll tweet Dos! related stuff on twitter and try to do something on my youtube channel...maybe with sending the trailer to my subscribers (or maybe all my friends, though idk whether it's still possible to check out one's friends list there) or maybe i'll just post it to some people's channels or just tell them about the release...

It'd be great if we could get radio stations to really play a lot of new Green Day songs! We can request Oh Love, Kill The DJ, and maybe Let Yourself Go from Uno. I think with Dos we can only request Stray Heart for now, since nothing else has been released as any kind of single. We can also request The Forgotten from Tré. But I'm not sure about requesting non-singles.... I thought radios don't really play songs until they have adds date and whatever. But I'm not sure.

The music needs to go viral somehow. Needs to be played in a video that will get a lot of plays. Anyone know any famous youtube people? Indirect advertising is some of the best. Look at that call me maybe song - only a hit because Justin bieber filmed himself dancing to it

not really famous but me and a friend once tried to make another video famous within a few days, cos we thought it's awesome and sent the vid to about 2000 people, it got about 1000-2000 views within two days (while it had about 50 views before) and afterwards it didn't get any views to it  ...it was at least a try and we could do that again, just that maybe some more people do it and not just 2 or 3, then we might maybe get 100.000 views in a few days...we'd just need a specific video for that and a lot of people participating...

and do you know how you can watch your friends list on youtube? or doesn't that work anymore with the new design?

...and i knew some halfly famous people on there but didn't talk to them for ages :D

Edit: i just searched the vid we promoted back then and it got 1.587 views and almost all were cos of our promoting (the last comment was made 8 months ago  ) aww that was a great time

It's definitely worth a shot! Even instructional videos that link back to iTunes will do!

As for serious though, great idea! :D

It looks like a Twilight fan who got into Green Day after listening to ''The Forgotten" made this. It looks cute though

Flo or someone really good at making gifs should try doing something like this where only a small part of the image moves. It's eye-catching.
