Could someone post a link on Reddit? I'm not a very good redditor, so I'm not really sure what to do. But I do know Reddit is very good for promoting things like this. And if someone posts something positive and unobnoxious on the music subreddit (which has 1.5 million subscribers alone), and we get a lot of upvotes for it, it could potentially get on the front page. And front page means lots and lots of publicity.

This is such a great idea, I got stupidly emotional reading through this thread last night..! Being able to actually do something for the band in this (seemingly) helpless situation would cheer me up a lot. So proud of you all! <3

However, I noticed that most of the artwork that's been posted has the November 13th and November 9th options, but not November 12th. That's when it's released here, and I thought it was the UK release date too? So we should probably have something that says Nov 12th as well. I think it might be a good idea for the people who's made flyers etc. to upload the .psd files, so that we can change the date ourselves, and write the text in our respective languages. As much as I know 99% of Norwegians would understand a simple poster in English, it just seems better to have it in your own language, you know? I would love to put up a few flyers around town, and it seems stupid for me to make new ones when you've already made a bunch of really good artwork, so could some of you please upload your .psd files? Thank you

I dont know if this has already been posted but on greenday.de/dos you can see some promotion pictures/wallpapers for ¡Dos! and on top of the site it says that these would hang around in six big cities in Germany. A friend told me about this. Well, there are 13 posters, one for every song off ¡Dos!, in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart and there is also a map where you can find each poster. From November 6th you are able to listen to the song when you're standing next to its poster and go to the website with your smartphone. I don't know how that would work exactly but it's a great way to promote it I think

I understand that everyone's worried about the promo for these records, but surely anyone who bought Uno will know that Dos is coming out soon? I can't believe they wouldnt advertise it in the CD? So you gotta believe at least half the people who bought Uno will buy Dos. Plus they're on Twilight.

Personal think these records will do just fine.

I am worries because they are doing absolutely nothing to promote it besides putting the songs on films. And let's be honest: who checks the film soundtrack? They are doing no interviews, they can't play, Warner has only released one promo video and to top it it's in Japanese...

Yeah but ultimately it's Green Day - people will know and people will buy it. They have a massive fan base.

That said, the aim is to try and get people outside the fan base a bit more aware. I didn't think it would be possible to bring in more young fans with these albums but i'm seeing people popping up with the new songs as their usernames, converted by tracks off Uno, so it can be done
