Haha, that's funny about him asking people to help him speak Italian.

I am also weirded out talking about his family history in detail, what he volunteers himself is more than enough XD.

Ok that's pretty cool of Billie to be sharing a little bit of his family history with us, I find family histories so interesting  I only know Italian musical terms, I don't know if that'll help him tho xD

Billie was so pretty in that last post too :wub:

So hard not to fangirl

I'm betting if he knows any italian at all musical terms would be part of his knowledge .

Not that bad though, considering in the year and a half since he posted that he hasn't done it ;).

Hmm so he left Spanish already? :S haha

Well, he doesn't have to talk about it all the time... he asked twice on 2 different sites :P it's kind of enough

Hmm so he left Spanish already? :S haha

When did he talked about spanish?

When did he talked about spanish?

Well, he's been including Spanish words since 21st CB

Yeah, but he never really wanted to learn Español

He lives in California. Spanish is ubiquitous there, there are many Spanish words in everyday vocabulary. Nothing to do with trying to become fluent in it, though.

Billie talks about wanting to learn foreign languages (Well, I can only think of German [highly doubt he's serious on that one, but you never know] and Italian right now but you get what I mean) so much and seems to never actually start

Was his grandma really born in Mexico? I mean, I knew her name was Alta Jackson, which Alta is obviously Spanish, but I had no idea she was born in Mexico.

I didn't know Billie had such a mixed family origin, I always thought the most wonderful looking individuals are products of such diverse combinations!

And yeah, I'm right!

Billie: English grandfather Italian grandmother

Very cool! Italian from my grandmothers side also!!

Genealogy is so fascinating. Billie has such a mixed background and I find that so interesting. He seems to be really interested in it, because I feel like he mentions it a lot.

BTW, I'm fairly certain he once said one of his grandmothers was from Chihuahua, Mexico. I remember just because it is difficult to forget about a place called Chihuahua.

Regarding learning a language - I imagine if he really wants to learn Italian, it would be pretty easy with all the time spent on the road! Lots of time to learn a language online or through audio.

^I'm sure he's pickd up on a few basic phrases in a lot of languages. Just from travelling. But it is very far from being fluent.

I don't think it's that creepy to watch/read an interview and remember what Billie said. He's talked about his family background etc a load of times, that's the only reason people know about it.
