At the risk of sounding like a douche, I wanna say in advance that it isn't my intention at all.

I don't get why you would make a post on one of the guys' pictures saying like "oh I was going to cut myself today but then I listened to you guys and I didn't". That's just such an awkward and private thing to post, like it's almost like a guilt trip thing to get the guys to comment back to you.

We don't even use it, it's such an ancient word. It basically means that you have the wish to go hiking. Wandern = hiking and lust, well lust as in desire. So it doesn't even have much to do with the meaning in English.

Yeah, except hiking (to me) is more like a painful thing to do while traveling is something I associate with fun xD But that's just me.

It's a heart? I didn't notice. But in the other side there's a picture with dogs! I like that one

Because English is a Germanic language.

Because English is a Germanic language.

The English language just steals cool words from all languages, a bit of French here, a little German there...

Yes, modern day English contains words derived from many different sources. But it is, primarily, a Germanic language. Just like French, Spanish, and Italian are all Romantic languages. They share the same core roots.

Wanderlust isn't really an English word derived from German though, it's a "loanword" from German. There isn't a word for it in English so we borrow the German word instead. Like how we borrow deja vu from French. So we are kind of stealing it in this case.
