Green Day on Twilight soundtrack

Billie recycled the lyrics "broken home" and "child left behind" from American Idiot. Come on, that's two AI lyrics in the same song! That kinda pisses me off.

Who cares? Honestly.

but in all honesty i'm sure those lyrics just resonate more with him. he came from a broken home, always feels lost... those lyrics are billies personality.

It could still be posted... I wouldn't be surprised if a promo goes up tomorrow saying you get the track instantly when you pre-order the album from iTunes.

I'm glad we have insiders at GDC. Larry Livermore and WhiteTim are always here to help when we have questions!

The supposed full version of the forgotten isn't real, on the twilight soundtrack it lists the song as 4:59 ( I may not be exact) and the "full" version is on YouTube Is like 2 something

Guys. We don't know whether or not it's coming tomorrow. Quit asking.

This. All we do know is that the original source that mentioned getting it today was making an assumption that wasn't actually mentioned in the press release. The press release didn't mention when "The Forgotten" would be released, just that it's the lead single for the soundtrack. So, it could go live tomorrow or it could just be given to radio stations for airplay....or be released at any other point between now and Nov 13th.

Grr. I wouldn't have been so rapey with the CSI version if I didn't think I was getting the real thing like a few days later. Not anyone's fault, just misleading miscommunication.

That wasn't even the first time he had used "broken home". He used it in Welcome to Paradise. Did it piss you off then?

Personally I love it when certain lyrics or phrases are used repeatedly. It's those kinds of details that most people wouldn't pick up, but the fans who know all their songs would appreciate.

I feel the same way. I love how "Ol' Whatshisface" from Whatsername returns in Loss of Control.

And please tell me this and Stray Heart WILL be released publicly on iTunes in the US today.
