Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap
I'm pretty certain that if Stray Heart becomes a massive radio hit, everyone here that says they love it and that its the best green day song ever will start hating it and saying how they cant believe it was chosen as a single and how its boring, repetitive, and just not that great. But if it blows on the charts everyone will still love it. Kinda like with Warning...everyone likes Warning because its "cool" to like cuz it sucked and didn't have any hits, but if it was big everyone would start slamming it like they did with American Idiot (which is hands down Green Day's best album). I don't get people. To me its either good music or not, and I don't think Drama Queen or Stray Heart are worth us all shitting our pants over. But I just hope people don't do what they did with 21 Guns and BOBD (yay its AMAZING!!!!! to they shouldnt play that crap at concerts ever again.). I might be totally off base, but it just seems to be how people act around here. 21 Guns is a terrible song though. I will admit that I liked it the first time I listened to it as with 21st Century Breakdown in general because I had been waiting five years for new Green Day, but that song in particular is actually woeful, generic power-ballad-by-numbers. Objectively it's a bad song. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams and Wake Me Up When September Ends are fantastic songs. They were overplayed to the point of me going off them for a while, and September Ends also had that atrocious video which ruined that song up until last week for me when I watched him singing it at Irving Plaza. But the songs are still objectively good even if you got fed up with them being played all the time and them being the only songs the band were known for. It's the same chords and melody repeated throughout. In essence, it's the power-ballad version of Know Your Enemy.

It's not about good vs. bad music; it's just personal taste.
Annie, get your gun
I've only heard 5 songs from this tracklist so I hope the other 8 remain unknown
bollard_11
I love how people see the name of songs and say "this song is going to be epic/my favourite". This coming from just seeing the song title. And add that to the debate on whether or not the word "its" is in a song title. Yeah the level of genius on display here is fascinating

spark in the night
Yeah bollard. I've heard two different clips of Makeout Party and that's why I think it's going to be my favorite. The first clip I heard was from the Echoplex show way back when. The second clip is from that British radio where GD took over and was leaking all these awesome songs. It's one of the few songs that hasn't gotten out of my head since I heard the first clip. So yeah.
Backyard Skulls
Really excited for Dos! Not heard much besides the song snippets that were played on Radio 1. I love the feel of Uno, Dos will just be amazing
spark in the night
Dos is going to have the music I've been waiting for. Those back-to-basics pure rock n roll riffs. Uno is okay but I want that garage sound. I want that 60s 70s rock/punk vibe. I'm very excited from the clips I've heard so far. Hoping the rest of the songs follow suit! bollard_11
Ah yeah I know about those clips, I wasn't referring to that, just I've been noticing since the UNO track list came out people were doing it. I was referring to people referencing Wow that's loud and other songs we have heard nothing from
DannyDirnt
Nigthlife, Fuck Time and Stray Heart will probably make my top 3 because I can't imagine anything better, but I'm impatient to hear the other songs

Australian1diot
I had a hunch that UNO wasn't going to be too spectacular because of Billie's description of a 'Power Pop', album. DOS is wasn't too keen, but holy fuck, after Lazy Bones, and now Stray Heart on the record, oh baby baby it's fuck time!
