Homero
I'm pretty certain that if Stray Heart becomes a massive radio hit, everyone here that says they love it and that its the best green day song ever will start hating it and saying how they cant believe it was chosen as a single and how its boring, repetitive, and just not that great. But if it blows on the charts everyone will still love it. Kinda like with Warning...everyone likes Warning because its "cool" to like cuz it sucked and didn't have any hits, but if it was big everyone would start slamming it like they did with American Idiot (which is hands down Green Day's best album). I don't get people. To me its either good music or not, and I don't think Drama Queen or Stray Heart are worth us all shitting our pants over. But I just hope people don't do what they did with 21 Guns and BOBD (yay its AMAZING!!!!! to they shouldnt play that crap at concerts ever again.). I might be totally off base, but it just seems to be how people act around here. You may be right, but I don't love Warning just because it's cool to do it, I love it because it's an amazing album and it makes me nostalgic every time I hear it. When I first heard this album (Warning), I didn't know if it was successful or not. Sorry for going off-topic.

Fuck, you had a point (misguided but still), but then you had to go and say something so fucking stupid like people only like warning "cuz it sucked." Fuck, you had a point (misguided but still), but then you had to go and say something so fucking stupid like people only like warning "cuz it sucked." I havent been a member for all that long and I dont post often, but I have been actively following GDC forums since 2006-2007. And all i was saying was that people's reactions and opinions to songs like 21 Guns shifted in a negative direction after they became successful. It also seems that way with BOBD and WMUWSE etc... I mispoke when I said Warning sucked. I didn't mean it like that cuz I actually do like the album. What I meant to say was that the material seems to be very supbar Green Day and thats reflected in its awful sales figures and lack of commercial success. Its my least favorite album, but it doesn't suck, and i shouldnt have said that it did because i didnt mean it in that way. However, i do think people seem to like it more now because its "cool" to like the obscure stuff that never made it onto any radio stations. .Holly
I'm not gonna listen to anything besides what I've already heard (Fuck Time, part of Lazy Bones, Stray Heart, Lady Cobra, part of Nightlife) until the album comes out, I want it to be a surprise! Me too. The first listen of iUNO! was kind of ruined for me because I was so anxious to skip over the tracks I'd already heard and listen to the new ones! Eh, you're right about some people acting like something sucks once it becomes popular, but I don't think you're right about this specific example. InsideOut
I wasn't sure how I would feel about Dos at first, but I'm getting really excited for it. A lot of the song snippets we got sound great. Nightlife is not my cup of tea, but it's nice to see some of you guys enjoying it because I'm all for the band experimenting with new sounds. I would love for either Lazy Bones or Stray Heart to be a single!

sampy
YES!!! It's "Fuck Time", not "It's Fuck Time"!!!!!!!!!!!! Nah, I was hoping for "It's Fuck". By that way "censored" version would be awesomely awkward. "oh baby baby it's fuck ---------" ..it's just a fuck. My life would be complete then. jk, looks like I need to go to sleep now.... They should drop the "time" just to make it even shorter. just call the song "Fuck". Although, I'm pretty sure "Fuck" would be a better nme for "What About Today"
Sanity Loan
The main reason why I'm glad the tracklisting is out: So people can shut the hell up about whether a song title has the word "It's" in it. WHO CARES?

WHO CARES? Yeah y'know I really was hoping that they'd drop out so many words that first three songs would build "See Fuck Flash" with their titles. btw once again I loved your cover of Lazy Bones, great job! WhiteTim
YES!!! It's "Fuck Time", not "It's Fuck Time"!!!!!!!!!!!! Then fuck that song if it not it's fuck time than I dont like it (This is a sarcastic post)
Todd
Honestly Matt, it means a great deal to me that there is no "it's". But that's the last you'll hear of it. Somebody edited Tre's wikipedia page and listed Drama Queen as track 4. Can somebody fix that since we have no official confirmation yet? maybe just take out the whole tracklist altogether? You could always edit it you know... (I was going to be sarcastic, but it just came off as condescending), best thing would be to mention that it's a tentative track listing and not confirmed.
