Micky
I'm always wondering, why people, who have reached everything in their lifes, who should be just satisfied and happy, have to do such shit. Getting drunken is funny, but drugs:no-go! I guess all this pressure (new CDs, new tour, new photoshoots, new interviews etc...) didn't help. DannyDirnt
I'm always wondering, why people, who have reached everything in their lifes, who should be just satisfied and happy, have to do such shit. I guess they still like drinking and having fun like all of us Don't they have the right? I personally think it's not that they do it more often than we do in most cases, it's that when they get drunk they appear on TV and media and we don't. Four.
Guys, why are you being such morons? You're not "just drunk" when you've got an addiction. Addiction is never "just" something.
Red Lights Flash
That's so sad. I'm so glad that he is getting help. It's the most wise and brave decision you can make in such a situation. I sincerely wish him a speedy recovery. I wonder if the 'severe dehydration' that caused the I-Day Festival to be cancelled has something to do with this. It's definitely a possible side effect of certain substances. This is all speculation, and I don't enjoy speculation, but I just wanted to point it out. (I was at that festival)
burnout409
Seriously thought this would never happen to Billie or any of the Guys! Hope he gets better soon! But on top of saying that I'm not gonna jump to huge conclusions, we don't know exactly what he's their for or how serious it was, so I'm just gonna wait till if and when we hear more about his problem and for now hope for the best outcome and that its not too serious right now. I also hope the media doesn't blow this up and out of per-potion that's the last thing he and anyone around him will need! But seriously sad news. Hope he get well soon
localinsomniac
It seems like Billie's hitting a mid-life crisis. I only read a few pages of the thread; has it been confirmed exactly which substance(s) he's being treated for? Whatever it is, it's a little disheartening, but not totally surprising. These are the same guys who were using meth just so they get through their shows way back when. I sure hope BJ gets the help he needs.

porksoda
Not to sound selfish, but since their website said they're going to have to cancel some upcoming appearances/performances, do we know which ones yet? I'm assuming everything in LA next week won't go down, which is fine with me, I'm just curious.

elisa
I'm always wondering, why people, who have reached everything in their lifes, who should be just satisfied and happy, have to do such shit. and I'm always wondering why people like you pass judgment on people they don't even know. you know nothing about his life and what he goes through, or any other celebrity for that matter. so please, until you get a call from his wife telling you the story of his life, hold back your judgment. and last time i checked, alcoholism and drug addiction isn't only a rich people's problem. !
Ahhhh man I wish I can just jump to Dos! release date because this is gonna get depressing. It's gonna be a week or two or maybe longer of people saying "I just knew something was wrong with him, I couldn't tell, but I knew something was wrong" .. I genuinely believe thats its not THAT serious, and everything will go back to normal in no time.

Btw, drinking alcohol can be fun But it's no fun, when you drink it too often. And drugs are

Pieces of Truth
Good god. This turned the epic performance into shit and I don't want to watch it ever again. I hope for his own, Green Day's and mostly for his family's sake that he recovers soon and stops doing this shit, if it's even true.

It's like that old saying - 'Money can't buy happiness'. Everyone has issues and if the issues are bad enough, then no amount of success, money, material things and such is going to make you happy. Tis life.
