Lauren
How "clean" is the clean version? Are words changed, or is it silenced out? If words are changed, I'd definitely get that one, too. but having a silence is too obvious to listen to infront of my parents
Heather.
I really love that totally random and tiny but dreamy guitar sound they subtly add in the middle of some lyric in Stay the Night. I'm too musically retarded to explain that properly, but I hope y'all know what I'm referring to
woahsilence
I love this album so so so much. granted, it's not their greatest, but it's up there.
BradGreenDay
Does anyone else think they should have keep the the name "Last Gang In Town" for the song Rusty James??? I just think the title Last Gang In Town flow's alot better with the song...
Malleus
Looking at the booklet and I'm thinking that if you were unfamiliar with Green Day, you'd just assume Jason is a regular member of the band.

(most people think Good Riddance is Time of Your Life) Rusty James sounds cool!

Lauren
who would actually buy a clean version by choice (maybee accidentally)? The Clean version of Kill the DJ is somehow ridiculous in my opinnion I picked "dirty", but if the words are CHANGED instead of censored, I'm definitely going to get it. I'm actually not a huge fan of cursing. Fewer curses have more meaning. I think there's too much unnecessary cursing in this album.

Heather.
Looking at the booklet and I'm thinking that if you were unfamiliar with Green Day, you'd just assume Jason is a regular member of the band. That's probably intentional. They're trying to normalize his presence so that when he outright is doing promo and being interviewed as if he was properly responsible for the album, people will just find it normal. Lauren
I don't have the physical copy yet -- so Jason is actually in the credits for playing guitar? Did he write any guitar?

BlackBaboon
@tvrman Radiohead's B-sides are better than a lot of band's singles. Including some Green Day singles. Listen to Palo Alto or Pearly. Oh God not a Radiohead...

He is credited alongside the band with "guitar", and he appears in photos with the band. Everybody else has one big picture though and Jason doesn't BUT STILL. drugstore hooligan
Totally agree with all the comparisons to Nimrod. Thats probably part of why im on such an uno binge it really is almost nimrod part 2. But to me i also hear Dookie like pop punkness on some tracks. Overall im still loving it! NicholasLouisBlack22
I bought the album today and so far I am not disappointed. I love the way they make it sound like they are in your room in front of you jamming. It's really unique and amazing. In my crazed and messed up mind, whenever I listen to this album and close my eyes, I can imagine them running around me playing. It's beautiful and definitely one of their best albums.
