That Dude
I will post pictures later, but did anyone else notice on the plastic wrap on the top of the album, it says "YUNO!". I found this rather funny. Also, while browsing around best buy, I saw a copy of 21st Century Breakdown with a different album cover. It was the Class of 13 cover, upside down. very strange. I have pictures of that too. No, it's today. Best Buy has it. They did not have it. All they had was the regular album explicit version, and the green day collection box set. They haven't shipped mine yet. :/ have you recieved your copy yet? Still waiting on mine...

They think they know everything about his personal life and how it is related to ¡Uno! ? Without asking him? Without having knowledge about that? Ok, MTV, if you are going to make a review about an album do not invent things. That kind of shit is starting to piss me off! Bastard of 1967
http://www.mtv.com/n...trong-uno.jhtml Did you guys read it? Yes - and I agree with the points about BJ's wrestling with his own issues through his songwriting, especially since it's always been so autobiographical. My wife and I were just discussing this the other day -- the trilogy is more than just a party, it's a three-album cry for help. After his problems came into public view the other day, this fabulous and fascinating album has become more challenging and even a little bit painful for me to listen to, and my heart goes out to BJ along with my hopes for his quick and complete recovery. Edit: Like Hermione, I do find the sensationalist assumptions about the root causes of Billie's issues to be offensive. This mars an otherwise good interpretation of iUno!'s lyrical content in light of Billie's recent problems.
Hermione
I agree that the news about Billie makes listening to the album a different experience, with some of the lyrics that much more real and poignant. That is a good point to be fair. But the article goes far beyond that into pure speculation and assumptions. It's sensationalist. And it's annoying to know that there's gonna be loads of reviews of and articles about the album that focus on this news about Billie instead of the album or try to relate everything on the album to it. _Maxi_
Wait, wait! So I can buy a couple of different versions of the CD in the US?! so I can really buy the one without the swears? really? or did I get it wrong? which one is the "normal" one? because I don't wanna have the clean version. (sorry but I have only been living in the US for about 5 months...)
WalkingContradictionPL
I got Uno yesterday. This reacird is great, of course, it's not my favorirte one (I think Warning always will be my fav cd), but it's great. I love Troublemaker and Carpe Diem. I shouldn't have listenet do recordings from secret shows of Stay the Night. It was hard for me to hear cd version for the first time, but second was better and now I love it too. For me the weakest song is Sweet 16. I like it,but the least.

cabot_girl
I love it!!!!! Been a fan since '95, and I must say I love this album a whole lot more than 21st CB and AI. It's a perfect blend of all the things that make me a devoted fan. Highlights for me: Stay the night, Rusty James, sweet 16, nuclear family:-)) but their all good <

Sanity Loan
With that MTV article, it's refreshing to hear a journalist say that a person shouldn't have to talk about their personal issues. Never hear that anymore. That's the one positive thing I take from that article. Though, it does raise a good point or two - are some of the songs about Billie's "problem?" localinsomniac
It's just sitting in my car right now, waiting for me to leave work.
