well,

just to feed the discussion about the "QUATRO" thing..

it's already written in portuguese.. because if it was a missplelling from italian..it should have a double "T"

Stay the Night is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. Perfection from first to last second. Especially the instrumental part just leaves me speechless.

And yeah, the rest of the album is great as well

^ So, this is me with the T-Shirt I got with my copy. Is it everywhere available or only in certain countries? Just wondering.

Searching on google I found out that "Quatro" is in latin (it means 4 anyway) and "Cuatro" is in spanish (of course I knew of this one :P)

Also Portuguese.

But, in Portuguese, we don't use inverted exclamation points. Neither are they used in Latin. It confuses me.

On my iPod, Kill the DJ has shot up to 89 plays, Loss of Control at 62, and Nuclear Family at 57.

I wish I had that much time to listen to music. :(

First thing I noticed and that very much disappointed me is that the two songs I heard before that I loved, Stay the Night (Marlay Park soundcheck) and Last Gang in Town, have had some sort of dullify filter on them. Stay the Night (studio) and Rusty James have so much potential but there's something to them on the album that removes all the punch and excitement they had.

I may be wrong here, but is it possible that the difference you've noted here is just down to the fact that they just sound better when they play songs live as opposed to studio albums?

It's available here too, but by the time I got to the music shop in town today all the small sizes were gone :( Have to try and get to another shop to get it!

Oh, that sucks :( I don't even know if there were smaller sizes, I was so excited that I totally forgot to check what size it is and realized that right when I gave the cashier my money and felt too awkward to say anything... Oh well. Turned out to be M, what's only one size bigger than my regular and the same as my other GD shirt, so it's perfectand the one I planned to get anyway  Good luck on getting the right one, I know the feeling that it's sometimes quite hard! ;)

I really hope Fell For You makes the tour set list

would be awesome indeed...i hope they will play massive new songs along with some really old/rare ones (1039/kerplunk)...i enjoy listening to known songs from nimrod. to 21CB, but better drop these and make space for others :)

I have been playing this album many times, I just cannot get enough of it. If I am not careful I may wear out the needle in my ipod. Rusty James is definitely my favourite track, but it is close. I really like the energy of iUno!, the production, harmonies - it is just a perfect response after AI and 21CB.

What a way to start a trilogy.

Maybe. It was a really noticeable lack of punch, though.

Seriously, I'm in utter love with Oh Love! Too bad most people will disagree but to me, it's one of the favorites right now.

Hey folks, Melissa from this forum has a great writeup of iUno! published on HuffPost -- check it out!

I read that yesterday, really cool review. But I don't think the albums follows a certain story, I mean, yeah, some songs could be related but that's all, not like a character in some story.

Billie is on record in various interviews saying both that the album trilogy is a concept set that (unlike American Idiot and 21stCB) isn't character-driven; while also saying that each album can simultaneously stand on its own in a "before/during/after party" analogy. I think things will become clearer when iDos! drops -- the snippets of Fuck Time, Lady Cobra, and Nightlife that we've heard in the previews indicate that songs on iUno! (specifically, Kill The DJ and Troublemaker) are musically and lyrically connected bookends for each other -- I mean, it's gotta be more than a big fucking accident that Kill The DJ and Nightlife are both using four-on-the-floor rhythms and that Troublemaker's percussion, bass, and subject matter are echoed in Fuck Time. This would put Nuclear Family prologuing and foreshadowing the whole thing, and Oh Love on iUno! and Amy on iDos! as cliffhangers. If this does pan out -- which I think it will, given how Billie Joe has been writing songs in a thematic fashion ever since Green Day's early days -- it'll be another epic step for the band: writing a three-volume rock opera using music and lyrical themes only, without any named characters recurring in the songs, to drive the concept.

I was snooping around on youtube and found this guy in a electronics store talking about new releases this week in music like Uno, and No Doubt's "Push and Shove". I saw him holding not only Uno, but also what appears to be Dos and Tre all in the boxset. I don't know why this intrigues me but it does, so I screen capped it here:

I think the store sells the three albums, and if you buy them you get a slipbox. actually it are two slipboxes in each other. the grey one, and then the one with a picture from the sides of the cd's

okay so I pre-ordered my copy of Uno months ago on Amazon... and selected an option for free two-day shipping. So when should I expect my copy to be at my doorstep?

I agree. I had the same opinion on a few songs that she had, but to me, a lot of what she said was just her overthinking what each song was about.
