green day is
I picked up on that. Lots of bitterness in Uno, and plenty of ambiguous to dark themes. Death of the nuclear family, "see if you're the one who got away" when, presumably, nothing's happened yet, LYG, Kill the DJ Troublemaker, Rusty James, even Oh Love has kind of a dark spin to it if you think about it enough (covered in the Oh Love thread). Again, I like that. They've done a largely upbeat, poppy record, with some dark undertones to it. Also, don't be a moron. The feds only care about seeders. >implying I'm searching through the whole Oh Love thread Mind recapping what the dark themes are? Or at least linking to the relevant posts? Sleeper Agent.
@ sarcasm: That's not the point. There have been cases of this kind i.e. people had to pay a lot of money for just downloading a few songs. It dind't happen to me either. But it is possible, at least when you download via torrents. Cause all the people who got caught did use torrents. As far I know no one has ever had to pay a lot of money for downloading via One Click Hoster. Because those don't get caught. That's the point. Use the quote button at the bottom kinda looks like this But you can change the torrent and stuff if you set your download speed
Guest
Doubt it. That's not how double-tracking works. I haven't listened to it through headphones yet, and I doubt I will until I have my lossless version on the 25th, but Li'l Hitler's right. Very rarely is one guitarist isolated to one stereo track and the other guitarist to the other.

uhleckseee
Finishing up my first listen. I'm kind of in a busy room so I didn't hear the vocals that much, mainly just the melodies. It seems weak, but it seems fun as shit at the same time. It's definitely going to be an album I'll keep in my car as a default disk. haha Fun driving music for sure. WrongWayToSalvation
i didn't say im suprised about uno not beeing punkrock, im just disliking it. punkrock is in my opinion the genre that suits green day the best. i dont know why they change their style cause its not taking a next step, maturing or more ambitious at all. its more a step back with uno. i could understand what they did with warning. you could see it was an ambitious album and why they did it. Green Day were never punk rock. They've always had pop in their music, pop meaning it's "easy listening". Seriously, some people here make it sound like Green Day was such a hardcore and raw band. Compared to who? Maroon 5? This album is as close to old school 90s Green Day as anything.

Kissing_a_Nun
And that's exactly the point: You always upload the stuff at the same time when you download it. That means you contribute it to a huge amount of people, and that is what they are searching for. Uploaders are the target! And downloading without uploading is impossible regarding torrents. Cause that's what the torrent system is all about.

WhiteTim
Doubt it. That's not how double-tracking works. That's because according to Billie in Guitar World none of the guitars are double tracked said which channel were his playing and what channel were Jason playing

Alan86
Kind of surprised by Kill the DJ there. What's appealing about it to you? I think it's just because it's so different from anything they have tried previously. It's a completely new style for them and I think they got it spot on. I am aware it's not to everyone's liking but I just think its catchy as hell.

Cause that's what the torrent system is all about. It's not impossible, it's just a dick move. Sometimes you gotta make dick moves though. Not to make this all about torrents and shit but the chances of you getting in trouble for torrenting stuff is pretty slim unless you're downloading like all new movies/albums as they are released from a public site. You might get a letter or email for downloading Uno but most companies won't go as far to interfere with your internet because of it - it's jut a formality.
