Sarcasm
Unpopular opinion here, hahah. I feel like 21CB is a thousand times better than Uno!. It was a good album, though; Lyrically, it is my least favorite one, I must say. Overall, I'd give it a 6.5/7 out of 10. Not that this album was ever set up to be lyrically ground breaking. Malleus
I'm really not surprised that all it took was a new album for people to stop hating the shit out of 21st. I'm not going to compare it because they're totally different and I can't really make unbiased ratings right now because Uno just came out so I'm obviously in love with that. Both albums give me the same feeling though and I think they're both quality albums, but if I had to guess I'd say that once the excitement of Uno dies down (when we get a new album in like 2 months, holy fuck) that 21st Century will probably be closer to my top favourite than Uno ever will be. Still a solid 8/10 album in my opinion though.

I became a fan of GD at the start of the AI era, right when it was released, so the Green Day I mostly knew and loved was the epic rock opera Green Day that existed on both AI and 21CB. Of course, I also really like Dookie and Warning, Dookie as a really strong pop-punk album that is just fun, and Warning for having some of the best individual songs, but overall I like Green Day better in their rock opera form. So I too think 21CB was far better, but at least a few songs off Uno preserved that sound.
Sarcasm
sweet 16 is by FAR the best song for me! the 2nd part of troublemaker after the solo is fucking GREAT to and the solos the best on the album so idk about all the hate.. the lyrics arent good though i understand that. just a great album in general 8.5/10 for me!!! i know DOS will be my favorite though! pre-set emotions like that may end up ruining the experience. In my case, I expected uno to be a tumor in Green Day history, but then I was blown away,

beejeezee
I don't always download album leaks . . . But when I do I only listen to the songs that have been officially released. In other words I'm trying hard as hell to resist.

deletethisaccount
¡Uno! was so much better than I expected. Despite the cleaness of the guitars, the songs are more pumpass than anything from 21st Century Breakdown. TroubleMaker is the only song I don't care for. Maybe it'll grow. I was never too crazy about Oh Love, but hearing it as the closing song after everything else, Oh Love is sounding better than ever.

1039SweetChildren
Maybe it's just the complete 100% freshness since we'd heard nothing of it before today, but I'm freakin' obsessed with Loss of Control.
sundown
Have typed out the lyrics to Rusty James and Fell For You, but am not really impressed. I mean, it's still a really great album and like what has been said before, I love the honest simplicity of the melodies and overall sound, but yeah, could've done better lyrically. but what is the meaning of rusty james? i didnt get it. Malleus
I feel like it could be the closing to a movie or something. Hahaha, I tweeted the same thing when I was first listening to it. It really does have that feel.
WalkingContradictionPL
this is exactly what im talking about!!! why dont you have a listening party with your friends (so you can still be excited and what not) and then buy the album a few days later... We can't make listening party cos we live in different cities. I could still listen it on my own now, but it wouldn't be that gorgeous feeling like I'll have when listen to it on Monday. I know myself the best and can resist to listen to it now

Guest
Really, all of the songs except Kill the DJ and Troublemaker are at least ok in my book. That makes it a huge improvement over 21CB. I'm really not surprised that all it took was a new album for people to stop hating the shit out of 21st. I still hate the shit out of 21CB...
