You know what...at first 'Uno' kinda dissapointed me...don't get mad but I expected a lot more.

But...as I listened to it a few more times I found out that it was one of those albums that grow on you with time.

Now I love every song on it.

With 'Dos' was kinda the same thing.

It's just that American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown were albums that I liked instantly. Jaw dropping good albums.

But I'm getting sweeter and sweeter on this trilogy...just a great bunch of songs...hehehe

Can't wait for Tré!!!!

I wasn't immediately in love with UNO... I wasn't disappointed, it just didn't hit me right away as American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown did. Dos did impress me right away, though, and now that I go back and listen to UNO, I really enjoy it as well.

I still think ¡Uno! is more of an average album. It doesn't impress me much. I think it's an ok album with just a few good songs here and there. ¡Dos! is WAY better.

Opposite for me.

Uno is much more consistent with a few gems (LYG, Nuclear Family, Angel Blue) and only Rusty James is a bit lacking of all the songs.

DOS! has more gems (Stray Heart, Makeout Party, Ashley, Lazy Bones) but it is much more inconsistent with songs like Lady Cobra, Wow! That's Loud, and Nightlife bringing no value to the album.

I prefer inconsistent... :)

I love UNO more than DOS right now. I don't know why but I find myself humming UNO tunes more xD

That´s funny, ´cause I can´t even remember a song from Uno at the moment... I´m Dos-infiltrated... Dos-brainwashed...

Wow! That's Loud is such an amazing song, I love it a lot. I think about almost everyone loved Lady Cobra. And Nightlife is definitely one of my favorites. And this album is all made of gems, with some different songs instead of just one, while ¡Uno! sounds very similar in all the songs except for Kill the DJ, that is the only different song int he album, and has many songs that I don't really mind. The only songs I really like on ¡Uno! are Let Yourself Go, Stay The Night, Kill the DJ and Fell For You. I like ALL the songs on ¡Dos!, being Ashley the one I like the least. I think ¡Dos! is a better album wether it's consistent or not. To me, it also brings more to the general rock scene.

Completely agree. Still don't understand the love for Rusty James. It's good, but not amazing.

I think Lady Cobra, Nightlife and Wow! That's Loud are the lowest point on the album, and it sucks, because Amy is so good as a haunting ending track... but after listening to Baby Eyes, I'm prompted to just restart the album. I don't think ¡Uno! sounds too similar, because Kill The DJ, Troublemaker and Oh Love are all noticeably different than the other nine tracks. I definitely prefer ¡Uno! to ¡Dos!.

Couldn't agree more.

I think I said it somewhere before that DOS! would be very very good if it would be a 10 song album from See you Tonight to Baby Eyes and then Amy as the finale.

Now the songs 10-12 are pushing the album down before a pleasant surprise wake-up with Amy.

I don't, Nightlife appeals me so much that I've just skipped 2 songs to listen to it sooner. I can't get anough of it! And Wow That's Loud has some amazing backing vocals and is most certainly in my top 3. I don't like Lady Cobra as much, but I do like it. All three songs are muchbetter than Ashley and Baby Eyes to me.

No, because as you see there are peopel who like the songs you wanna take out of it. And I don't see how having less songs makes an album better, unless they are totally horrendous.

I understand that, but I was talking about my own liking.

For me the album would have been better without the songs I listed.

That's why I removed 2 of them from my own playlists (Lady Cobra is just good enough).

Surely the presence of them will appeal to someone, but not me.

I was listening to Let Yourself Go and I was thinking that Tre should have been the one screaming "Gotta let it go"...thats just me xD

That would be cool, but I love the fact that Jason does it. He sounds really good and it's great to hear his voice for once!

You know that it's Billie who does it on the album, right?

I believe Dos will be the standout and Tre will be meh!... Dos will have them at the party, which will probably have more high energy type songs which is what I want to hear. Tre will probably deal with the aftermath/hangover and I think it will be the low point for the trilogy.

I think tre will be the best musically and lyrically of the three albums. Even the band describes it as epic, and it has a track around 7 minutes. Tre is described as being self reflective, and i would say billie writes the best songs when he is in self-reflective mode.

Now that I have heard Dos, I kinda agree. I heard the preview for x-kid and I loved it, so I'm hoping Tre is the best out of the bunch.

Is it really? Well shit  It doesn't sound like him to me.

It sounds like him to me but... *shrugs*

Yeah the reason they had Jason do it at the Mtv awards is (presumably) cause it was right after Billie had been sick.
