Kings of Leon have been announced...this is a two-day festival right? Maybe they're the second headliner

Hmmm, I was hoping that Green Day would be announced but had a feeling that it would be KOL! =/

There's no mention of this festival on the new tour merch which includes Leeds, so I doubt they'll announce them as another headliner.

Green Day are now officially announced for the Montreux Jazz Festival, on July 7th! I do still hope I'll find someone to go with. I'm alone so far so we'll see. But that would definitely be an awesome opportunity!

I'm going to the Green Date gig on May 31st also, can't wait to see them! Only heard good things about them. Plus, they've got Foxboro Nottubs supporting, so it's gunna be a fucking epic night! They're gunna have an entire audience filled with people going to see Green Day the day after, we'll all be going nuts

Foxboro Nottubs? How did I not know about their existence? That seems like a great show indeed.

Oxegen (Ireland) is being announced on Monday. I wonder if GD will be playing it seeing as they're doing other European festivals and there's no Irish date yet.

That's July 8th, 9th and 10th, and they're already playing on the 8th (Switzerland) and on the 10th (France). They're quite close, so I really doubt they go up to Ireland for the 9th... :(

It's on the August bank holiday weekend (3rd and 4th August). It would be really great to get an Irish date but it would suck if it's to be Oxegen.

Ya, I'd MUCH rather a normal show but if they do play Oxegen I'll prob end up going. Some of my friends are planning on going anyway. It would be great for them to play here in any circumstances though. I'm annoyed I'm only seeing them the once in London as it stands :P

Oh. I must have looked the 2011 dates then.

I'm leaving Ireland on July 31st D:

Edit: http://www.oxegen.ie/line-up-demo/ It says July...? It says August in every other place though.

Green Day why you no schedule tour date for Ireland!

They don't love us anymore :( Well both Oxegen and Electric Picnic are being announced this week so we've two chances!

I think I'd be a bit miffed if they were announced at either of them! I'd much prefer a Green Day exclusive concert.

I know me too, but at this stage I'd take anything!

I'm holding out that later this year will be our time!

I've been to Oxegen before and just can't stand the people who snidely pick fights with other fans.

I've never been, but I've heard the horror stories! Well there has to be a 2nd leg to this tour and that's when our real time will come! I'd love them to play the O2 again.

I'd be up to Dublin like a bloody bullet if they played it. We've nowhere in Cork for them to play, so as always, I'd have to travel. But it'd be worth it. I wouldn't even want to stand, a sitting ticket would do me. I'm not even being greedy about it like!

I hope the people organising the tour are not complete idiots and think the emirates will keep everybody in the uk happy for the rest of the tour.

I think it'd be pretty dumb NOT to have a full tour at all. I'd like to think it'll either be at the end of this year/next year at some point :)

A lot of this European Tour is festivals. There will be a full arena tour possibly later this year/next year or whatever. They're not going to miss out Ireland.

I agree, I think a proper world tour will happen in 2014.

The set list they have been using so far is perfect for festivals, maybe on the next tour we will get more trilogy songs etc..

I think the tour will progress like this;

US 2nd Leg - Winter 2013

Australia/New Zealand - January/February 2014

UK/Ireland - March/April 2014

Europe - May/June 2014

Festivals/Stadiums - July/August 2014

Asia - September/October 2014

South America - November/December 2014
