European Tour

i doubt it, Billie said in an interview that they planned on doing a Germany tour. as it was before he went to rehab it's unsure whether his "promise" still counts, but these shows definately weren't meant to be the arena tour and they weren't meant to be everything for us...even if they won't play a whole tour here, i'm sure they'll announce at least one or two arena shows in germany ;)

Yeah, he said they'd do a full german and a full UK tour. I just don't know in which respect the plans might have changed due to the latest circumstances. But I definitely think we'll get more European shows, probably in late 2013 or next year :)

Something in the back of my head is convincing me that they'll announce an arena tour right after Emirates. Maybe i'm just hopeful :S

I really hope they do a UK arena tour, but I hope it's next year, I have to save up again :P

That said, maybe a few theatre shows? London HMV Apollo, Manchester O2 Apollo and Glasgow Barrowlands in early August, maybe?

That would be awesome. Really intimate and personal.

they'll definitely play a few shows in germany as they always did!

Jep, that´s what I think too.

The question is only, when they will announce the dates.

Ok... I´m not sure, but I hope! :S:happy:

Ooh yes please. This reminds me of when I woke up in a house full of Green Day fans the morning after a fabulous show at the end of the UK leg of the 21st CB tour to the news that they'd just announced a show at Wembley the next summer. They could very well do the announcing that way again! I hope so.

That must have been awesome to experience. A house full of people going fucking crazy over the same thing as you.. I hope that happens this time.

Haha yes! It was right after the Wembley Arena show. I remember being in college completely dazed from the night before and all of a sudden they announced the summer shows  and then the day before Shepherd's Bush...they announced Emirates. It seems to be a trend with us, I hope it sticks

Just found em, it's August 23rd and 24th. So Green Day could play the 24th :)

Edit: no they couldn't, cause Leeds. Woops

"pretty good" is understated, they are amazing live ;) (and this comes from someone who's had more than high hopes after 3 years being a green day fan but not being able to see them live ;) )

I'm going to the Green Date gig on May 31st also, can't wait to see them! Only heard good things about them. Plus, they've got Foxboro Nottubs supporting, so it's gunna be a fucking epic night! They're gunna have an entire audience filled with people going to see Green Day the day after, we'll all be going nuts

Aww mines just in a local pub/music venue on 25th. I wanted to go to the London one but we're taking my nephew to the Emirates show and he's only 6 so we wouldn't get in...dang :ermm:

Tennent's Vital (here in Belfast) is usually during the week before Reading And Leeds. I went last year to see The Foo Fighters and The Black Keys(who headlined Reading And Leeds that year)and it was on the 21st. There's a lot of rumours that Green Day are going to headline (which of course i'm hoping is true!)

i'm sure you won't be disappointed ;) ...i still get these huge smiles in my face when someone mentions Rock am See or even just Green Day, it's really like a drug, somehow i managed it to stay without any post-concert (or festival in my case) depression, i'm still in that high moment  ..that show was by the way on September 1st...and i'm still not over it

late 2009 they did the first tour for 21CB..and in summer 2010 the epic open air shows *_* so i think there wont be more dates (maybe just a few in some countries that have no show yet) this summer..but i can definitely see them doing something like the open-air tour from 2010 in summer 2014 again..with some dookie/AI specials :D
