European Tour

I saw it listed on US Tour shirts, and there's also an Italian article that says that GD will play in Montreux on July 7 (I can't post the link cause I'm writing on my mobile).

I checked Mountreux Jazz Festival website and I think it's a normal indoor concert. :)

Oh alright, that makes sense then! :) Thanks a lot! Saturday would have been so much better for me but I'm still thinking about going there.

So they still have something to announce :runaround: And I hope that's not only another Switzerland date. Finger crossed for Germany!

The Switzerland date was listed on the t-shirts.. so I think if there are more german / UK dates waiting for us, they might be in August when they're playing Reading and Leeds. Though the two August dates are listed on some of the t-shirts too. Who knows. =/

It;s a matter of time before they announce the big arena tour. Ziggo Dome, König PilserArena, Sportpaleis. All these are going to be on the list, mind my words

I hope you're right, but when would it be? In August?

I can assure you I am right. Probably late 2013 or early 2014 they'll start playing those kind of venues

No, I can't see them doing any more dates in the UK until next year. :ermm:

As long as they have a full Uk tour for the 99 revolutions tour this year or next year I will be happy.

Yeah, this. I do really, really hope so and would be kind of sad if we didn't get a proper arena tour, especially in Germany and the UK, but who knows? =/

Green Day won't do anything arena-style in England until October at the earliest. R/L have quite stringent exclusivity guidelines in their headliner contracts that Green Day will be bound by. Something along the lines of no large-scale gigs two months either side of the festival, if I'm not mistaken.

That said, maybe a few theatre shows? London HMV Apollo, Manchester O2 Apollo and Glasgow Barrowlands in early August, maybe?

Yeah, I can imagine. Same apparently goes for Rock am Ring / Rock im Park in Germany. Means no shows in May / June / July or so. I really hope Germany and the UK will still get their shows - somewhen :)

This old chestnut again, how could you possibly know ? Unless you have seen the contract there is no point second guessing, the details are subject to many things eg; who wants who, the money being paid...etc

Anybody that knows how touring works knows this. There is no way they're skipping Europe for the arena tour. It would be plain stupid to think such a thing

Well, you're right, that's for certain! :) But talking about Germany, you could also see the shows last year as their arena "tour". I guess we will see.

They seem to be doing things in reverse from the last era tour, I just wonder whether they would do 2nd leg US before coming to Europe for a full tour..

Those venues would make my life.

Nah, Mönchengladbach and Berlin weren't part of their arena tour. Those were warm-ups. They played 5 arena shows on the 21st CB tour in Germany, 1 in Denmark, 1 in Holland, 1 in Belgium and 1 in Switzerland and Austria, so don't worry, you're gonna see them live -.^

Wasn't worrying about myself :tired: Just general guessing and talking about when / where we'll get more dates.

i doubt it, Billie said in an interview that they planned on doing a Germany tour. as it was before he went to rehab it's unsure whether his "promise" still counts, but these shows definately weren't meant to be the arena tour and they weren't meant to be everything for us...even if they won't play a whole tour here, i'm sure they'll announce at least one or two arena shows in germany ;)
