StuckWithRob
Do you not think they would prefer to do that as well ? After reading the RS interview let us be lucky that Green Day will be doing any gigs. I think a mini UK tour is possible in the Autumn with or without R/L, otherwise we will get 'our' shows in 2014. Yes don't get me wrong I'm very thankful that Green Day are still touring and was shocked about how bad things were for Billie Joe. I was more having a go at the management, I have no idea if the band enjoy these suprise shows (but I get the idea they do from Billie's tweets last year and comments during the shows), but they are not enjoyable for us fans. And I don't want to start any speculation about a UK tour!

I like surprise shows.. a lot.. they make life unpredictable. I hate booking anything far in advance and having an endless wait.

Yaz.
A guy wrote this in another thread, about the Australian tour Mid year...I don't really know what to think about the Reading festival rumour Mid year..so really, the only option they have is after Spain and Portugal, so maybe end of July or early August? crazychic
Yeah no one will have them yet, i think they said they will be printed and posted a few weeks before the show so it'll be a while yet... ... but it's getting closer thanks I kinda panicked and thought damn haven't had my tickets yet lol so wooo yeah am counting down the days hehe
~ Walking Contradiction
The final Reading headliner will be announced on Monday...do you think the fact that more GA tickets for the Emirates have been put on sale has any relevance? Like they're trying to sell those tickets before the festival announcement? Looks like the other possible headliners are Arctic Monkeys and Black Sabbath Read this on the FB page: It is going to be Green Day we predict. NME are doing a Green day special in next weeks magazine. Which just happes to be a Reading and Leeds line up special. Coincidence?! I don't think so. San Miguel
I'd be surprised if Green Day are headlining at Reading/Leeds because everything i've read suggests it will be the Arctic Monkeys. i'll be really happy for everyone going if it is them though! Guest
When is Reading/Leeds? If Green Day do end up playing I would make every effort to go. I kinda hope not as I really can't afford it but my god please.

Arctic Monkeys are pretty much a defo to headline Glastonbury this year. Reading/Leeds final headliner is a toss up between Green Day and Black Sabbath if rumours / speculation are to be believed. Personally I think it's going to be Green Day... they're playing festivals all over Europe and only have one date in UK so far.. no more announcements have been made regarding UK dates.. Plus it means that they would be playing 2 gigs outside of London now, which I guess could be seen as an alternative to the UK tour which never materialised. It just makes sense. To me. But then again saying that, come Monday it'll probably be a total curveball whose announced!! Reading / Leeds is Bank Holiday Weekend in Aug for poster above. Green Day (if they played) would headline the Friday at Reading and Leeds on Saturday.
StuckWithRob
I hope they don't play Reading/Leeds, would rather see a proper concert (like 3 hours) than a festival slot.

Yaz.
I may lose my shit if they play Reading. I had a dream the other night that they announced a UK tour and it was end of August-September dates, it really freaked me out. I wonder if i'm foreshadowing this
Dirty Rotten Bastard
If they announce reading/leeds I could see them playing one or two more 'real' concerts as well for late August/early September. Maybe in Ireland and Scotland. *tries to not get hopes up for the one-thousandth time*

I wonder if i'm foreshadowing this I've dreamt that so many times i wake up all excited and then i remember it's just a dream! I'm hopefully going to Emirates now, so any extra scottish dates will be a bonus now. I seriously hope they announce another few. Cardiff/Glasgow/Belfast/Dublin/Manchester etc would be good

NaughtyHellGod
I still have hope that they will do a full Uk tour in late 2013. Even if they played in manchester or newcastle I would go but I don't really want to travel down to london.
