jumpsalty
I'll be so angry if this is the full European tour. Not because I don't think it's long enough but because they should inform us on that. I won't believe this is the full tour because I just can't imagine they'll announce one date at the time without giving us any clue if that was the last one. It seems so wrong. Or is it just me? They owe us nothing.

Yaz.
I think a big issue is with the UK fans, that we're getting one date out of their entire tour that is going to be incredibly difficult for a lot of people to get to. Considering a lot of their fanbase is still in school, June 1st is a bit of a shitty time, too. I get that it's a Saturday but how many kids who are young enough to still be in school will be allowed to go to London to see a band when they have school? Even for us older fans outside of school, it's one date. I sure as hell can't get to it, it's miles away [i live in Wales]. It would cost me an arm and a leg, not only because of travel but accommodation, too. I can't afford to stay in central London for crying out loud. They're immensely nice guys because they don't screw you over when it comes to tickets prices but I'm feeling slightly screwed over right now. Bah. I'm seriously hoping they do a proper UK tour in 2014. I don't mind waiting a bit longer, as long as we get more than one freaking date. Obviously with Billies rehab I wouldn't want him to rush into anything. His health is priority no.1 it just sucks major ballsack okay. I'm throwing an immature bitchfit & I know that. Nah I completely understand where you're coming from. A lot of people held back on getting Emirates tickets thinking that there would be more dates because that is what we were told. UK tour starting June 1st.
jumpsalty
we give them their money. ... Lol no we don't, we pay for a service (seeing a show). So far, there's been no service. We've put forth no money and they don't owe us a damn thing!
Guest
... Lol no we don't, we pay for a service (seeing a show). So far, there's been no service. We've put forth no money and they don't owe us a damn thing! Well, we're the ones who buy their albums, buy their merchandise, pay to see them live. So, in fact, yes we do give them their money. Without us, the fans, they would be nothing. That's not me being mean, that's the truth. No band can be successful without fans. I'm not saying they owe us anything because at least they're doing a tour, better than a lot of bands, but it would be nice to get a wider variety of dates in certain areas so that those of us who have been long term fans, even those of us who haven't, have an equal opportunity to see them live rather than having to beg & plead with parents/partners to lend us the money so we can afford to just get there. Mary711
If we won't get any more shows this summer, we'll get some next year. Of course it's hard to wait but the as the time passes without getting any new dates, we should get used to that thought.

That's not what I'm saying though. You buy CDs and shirts and yes they benefit but you get something too. But if they don't tour - which they're not obligated to do - and no money has been exchanged, then that's just life. That's what I mean by they don't owe us anything. They don't owe us tour dates just because we buy their CDs and shirts. Anyway I am sure we will get a tour in good time.

This. I still think they will add a couple UK festival shows. What was the last show announcement though, the Italian dates? They announced several shows that week (and the weeks before), and then silence. If they don't announce them by mid February (when X-kid is released) then this could be the full tour for this summer. GuitarPunk94
i think there wont be a proper tour like with 21CB..just the festivals and few shows...but i think they will do a 2nd huge leg like the open air shows in 21cb era in summer 2014... Is it really too much to expect? I wouldn't even be mad if this was the whole tour even know it means that I wouldn't see them this year. I just want to know if there will be more dates or not. Particularly as the band said there'd be a "full UK tour" this summer. Circumstances have changed since that was said so it'd be nice to know whether there's still going to be one or not.If they haven't finished announcing dates yet they're not at fault though! So all we can do is wait and see I suppose.

.Holly
People complaining that London is too expensive: there are cheap ways to do it. Go on hostelworld and there are multiple hostels for around £8 a night. That's what I did for shepherd's bush. Just cos it's central London doesn't mean there aren't cheap places to stay. And if you book a megabus now or even a train ticket, it should be cheap this far in advance. I get everyone's frustration, but it's not up to green day to think about the logistics of fans traveling to shows. They come from the US where it's not out the ordinary to travel many hundreds of miles to a show. So what if it's during the school term? Should they only play during school holidays to keep you lot happy? I'm just fed up of people acting like they owe us anything, or should be thinking about all the reasons why a show on a certain day or in certain place could inconvenience us. if you really can't be there for whatever reason, it's not green day's fault. But yeah, it would be nice to know if this is the full extent of the dates or not. Greenday.com could give us that much.

Backyard Skulls
I could quite easily afford emirates if I wanted to, that's not the problem with me, just that they said it was a whole uk tour. If had known this in hindsight I would have definitely bought a ticket back in September but I didn't and that's my fault, not Green Day's. I don't feel like they owe us anything either. Just because Billies been in rehab it doesn't mean that they should play like 100 shows to compensate for that!

Billie-Joe's Bitch
Well, I bought a ticket to the London show as its the first GD Concert I'll ever go to, so I'm ecstatic just that they've announced one date, even if I'm not in the standing area, I don't care. I'm just happy that I'm going to see GD and wouldn't really want it any other way
