jumpsalty
The Who are almost definitely announcing a UK tour tomorrow, guys. I'm 99% certain. It's just whether Green Day will also be making an announcement, we don't know... Green day could open for the who. How epic would that be. Yeah, but it says 'and there is a tour announcement by a popular American rock band' It probably isn't Green Day and we're probably all being far too optimistic yet again but lets just hope! .Holly
Yeah, I'm not hopeful it is. There are rumors about a linkin park tour being announced, they're overdue one and have a new album out.
musso_kn
Ok, let's figure this out. Apart from Green Day, which other 'popular American rock bands' have recently released a new album and are supposed to have a world tour on the way?

Raven93
There won't be any more dates added on to the tour - just have to wait until 2014 :/

Backyard Skulls
Rockness is on from the 7th - 9th of June, I'd love it if they played that, right on my doorstep There's T in the Park but all the headliners have been announced and Belladrum in August but that'll be too late. LittleBoyNamedTrain
I still think the most likely festival they'll play is Download. I know the headliners have already been announced but they wouldn't exactly turn down Green Day if they asked. Here's hoping for an arena tour in the autumn instead of this stadium tour which probably isn't happening any more.
Soo
Yeah, I'd actually be quite happy with some sort of arena tour in Autumn as June isn't a very convenient month for me, but we'll see what happens!
LisaBJA
I cant wait until 2014..., its too long I want to see them this year, not at festivals I still have hope for more tour dates this year
EastGinaNowhere
I cant wait until 2014..., its too long I want to see them this year, not at festivals I still have hope for more tour dates this year yes me too! I think festivals don't count as (pure) Green Day concerts so I guess there will be more tour dates! I remember when they did this mini-tour before the trilogy release,Tre wrote in a photo, that this was the first leg of the three of the trilogy tour or something like that! Keep the Faith! DecanoLP
I'm quite sure they're done announcing dates. They might add 1-2 more shows in the UK (which they'd have to do very soon though) and that's it. They already play many shows in Europe and their time table is kinda packed with 1 or 2 exceptions./edit:I think festivals don't count as (pure) Green Day concerts so I guess there will be more tour dates!Sure they do. That's what every band does: Playing festivals to promote new music.

ConfirmPassword
I'll be so angry if this is the full European tour. Not because I don't think it's long enough but because they should inform us on that. I won't believe this is the full tour because I just can't imagine they'll announce one date at the time without giving us any clue if that was the last one. It seems so wrong. Or is it just me? Guest
I think a big issue is with the UK fans, that we're getting one date out of their entire tour that is going to be incredibly difficult for a lot of people to get to. Considering a lot of their fanbase is still in school, June 1st is a bit of a shitty time, too. I get that it's a Saturday but how many kids who are young enough to still be in school will be allowed to go to London to see a band when they have school? Even for us older fans outside of school, it's one date. I sure as hell can't get to it, it's miles away [i live in Wales]. It would cost me an arm and a leg, not only because of travel but accommodation, too. I can't afford to stay in central London for crying out loud. They're immensely nice guys because they don't screw you over when it comes to tickets prices but I'm feeling slightly screwed over right now. Bah. I'm seriously hoping they do a proper UK tour in 2014. I don't mind waiting a bit longer, as long as we get more than one freaking date. Obviously with Billies rehab I wouldn't want him to rush into anything. His health is priority no.1 it just sucks major ballsack okay. I'm throwing an immature bitchfit & I know that.
