European Tour

Are there English/Irish festivals announcing headliners in January/February? If not I don't think they will announce "normal" gigs in the UK this summer, at this point

I thought they might've been announced for Download on Wednesday since they're free that weekend but they weren't.

If they are playing UK stadiums this summer it'll have to be announced soon. It's now or never, really.

I don't really think the will play stadiums, the Emirates is not even sold out yet. I think they will come back in autumn/winter for a UK arena tour (like they did in 2002, right?) or they will play a couple of secret shows in June and then come back in 2014.

I think emirates will be the 'big show' in the uk and they'll come back (or hopefully squeeze in a date) in the autumn or something?

Really pissed how there's no Scottish date, even in 2010 they put in the SECC in between Wembley and Marlay Park (or was it parc des prince??). They always come here :(

I think I'll end up getting an emirates ticket anyway though so. Just need to find people to go with and whatnot.

There are still many more acts to be announced for Download so they might still play it. As for Irish festivals, I've no idea. I make a point to avoid them!

Just reserved my place for Trieste show! :)

I'm a fan since '04, and this is going to be my 1st GD concert! I'm soooo f**king excited :) :) :)

Download already have their headliners though, and they wouldn't be further down, surely? (Unless they pulled a Reading 12' stunt again)

Download still need a 3rd second stage headliner.

Oh right, what are the other two-Enter Shikari and Limp Bizkit?

GD still seem too big alongside them..considering they seem to be headlining main stage for the other EU festivals

I'm feeling really sad when they won't announce more gigs :sorry::sorry::sorry:

It can't be their whole Tour in Europe :sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry:

If anything, they'll headline on the 14th. They'd need a day to get to their next gig and they're bigger than Slipknot anyway.

Well maybe they will! I would be suprised if there wont be any more dates in Germany or UK.

Or maybe they'll just come back in 2014!

Don't worry, probably it won't be their whole tour :) The same music journalist, who had written to Polish fans about concert in Poland, said lately to us, that it will be another concert near our country (I don't know, Czech Republic maybe?). So I think it won't be one more show, they surely have more dates to announce.

Maybe we should close this until dates are released?

Good idea. I come to this thread every day to see if anyone has any interesting news and I always leave semi depressed :D

Or we all agree that we try to cut the "omg I hope they come to my country" (not picking on anyone, I'm guilty of that myself :P)-posts down and just wait and see :)

I'm sorry, that's not possible. Many of us here are British. We love moaning :)

This woman finally replied and she said that she can't give me the dates for me to choose until all the winners are announced (there are three contest, one for each CD). So we can't know if all the dates are already announced, from this source anyway :(

What do you think about this?

Live Nation Entertainment has reportedly won the rights to host large-scale musical events in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stadium in 2013 - and will apparently announce some ‘major concerts’ with some ‘world-renowned artists’ over the next couple of weeks. Events scheduled to be announced following their win include Wireless Festival and Hard Rock Calling, while many more gigs, events, concerts, and shows are set to be announced in the first quarter of 2013.

“Over the coming weeks, we intend to announce some major concerts with world-renowned artists, to firmly establish the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as the centerpiece for great live music in Europe.”
Green Day maybe? it's in London again though...

The winner of Tré is allegedly announced on the 30th, but the winner of Dos is still not announced and they said they would say it on the 15th... But it's organized by Warner, the spanish version of Facebook and a popular radiostation, so it's realiable, but I don't know, it's really disorganized. Anyway, /offtopic.
