But, but, but... Peeing?

exactly that's what i'm always wondering, too...i wonder how anyone could make it so long without peeing, even if they don't drink anything...i mean, i didn't drink anything the whole day as well and had to go to the toilet anyways

just tell the other ppl in front of you that you 'lost your pocket in the first rows' and everybody will let you pass through ;D

haha that's a good trick

There was a portable toilet outside of the venue and I gotta admit that I tried to keep the drinking at a minimum for the whole day (which means I drank nothing in school and only a little on our way to the show) . Oh well.

I had chance at the Rock & Seine show. I've never had to pee. Even during the ten hours I stayed in front of the scene (8 hours of waiting + 2 hours of show).

oh lucky you! ...i'm lucky that i survive a day without even drinking once, but i'm unlucky that i have to go to the toilet anyways  ...and well, now i remember my mistake that's probably the reason for that i had to go to the toilet: i drank some water in the morning on our way to the show :o ...i surely won't do that the next time

maybe i can make it into first row at Rock im Park then :shifty:

Well, all this is a little off topic.. but not drinking anything before a concert isn't good at all. I wouldn't do that. Sure, that toilet thing is a problem. But not drinking isn't good for your circulation. With all the heat and you jumping around and moving, you'll get dehydrated pretty, pretty easily. Collapsing at a concert isn't a nice thing at all and I tell you: It happens easier than you think. =/ That happened to me once and I don't ever want to experience that again. So better drink and eat a lot before a show and then go to the toilet several times. There's a way to make it work without not drinking water.

Well yeah okay haha  I don't get how you can not pee while waiting so long. I have trouble holding it a whole concert

well, i don't drink a lot in general, so i could actually do it ;) ...don't worry if i really really need to drink something, i will do it ;) ...and i'll look which weather we'll have...at Rock am See it was kinda cold and it was raining half of the day, if it's that weather at Rock im Park again, i won't need anything to drink and if it's really warm, well, then i guess i'd really have to drink a bit...

i know, i know....i answered to that in another post;) ...idk...i know it's not really healthy but i don't drink much in general, not even when i play hockey

Wow in the first row? How do you make it do come in the first row??

Yeah its closer

but i think the chance that they will announce a date in Germany is higher than a date in Belgium or in France

BUT when they announce also more dates in these countries, I would go there :creep:

There already are dates in France and Belgium. Have a look for all the dates annouced so far here:

Nope!

Seems like I've never been in front of you at the barrier that this worked for you. ;)

So true. You better take care of yourself before, during and after the show.

How do you go to the toilet during the show.. I mean, if the place is packed and you want a good spot, it's almost impossible right?

I'm not thinking about getting the 1st row in the festival I'm going, my experience in the 1st row (in front of the catwalk) at a GD show wasn't really the best, I couldn't even breathe out there, and I had to give that spot up... But If I don't get the 1st row I'm not sure if I'll be able to see any of the show, since I'm quite short  Ugh... Oh well, I don't care... I can still hear the music and have a good time.

Once I'm having my spot, I'm not leaving anymore. Toilet needs to wait until after the show.

When I went to see Billy Talent the squeezing and pushing was real bad but I stayed in the front row anyway since it didn't really bother me (well, except for the part that it hurted like fuck when the security guard bent over me to catch the crowd surfers ) because I'm the kind of person that can handle it without freaking out and I can have a good time anyway.

This. So much.

The only person that could make me leave my spot voluntarily is Billie if he pulled me on stage or something :P

Yeah, I guess I wasn't made for Rock shows :angry I really can't stand people going against me, squeezing and ugh, I just can't enjoy a show like that.

I agree but my problem are my legs: They hurt so much after standing 1 hour so i have to sit down :( I can't stand 10 hours long, this kills me.

Waiting kills my back so much. When we waited for Flogging Molly it was so awful for me, even though we only waited for like an hour for the door to open. But we waited a long time inside and there was two supporting bands :pinch: of course I couldn't feel my back at all when the band finally came

When I think about us waiting.. This band really makes us do the craziest things. That's probably one of the reasons why I love them so much.

Nah, I think I explained that a little wrong then, sorry. I'm going to the toilet several times while waiting at the entrance. Once I have my spot, I'm not leaving anymore  I wouldn't wait hours and hours at the entrance to go to the toilet once I'm in there, haha.

I wish they'd just tell us whether this UK tour is happening. I Missed out on Emirates tickets (which are now sold out apart from upper tier) because they told us there'd be more dates.

haha and now please tell that my friend, cos when Billie wanted someone to play the drums, i pointed at her and Billie really came and pointed at her, but she didn't want to...in the end there were Billie and Mike next to each other pointing at her (well, Billie pointing at her, Mike looking at her as he had to play the bass) and even Tre starring at her....and she didn't go :( ...though she promised if that happens again, she'll go on stage :D

...so yeah it GAVE these people who don't even leave their spot when they'd get pulled on stage
