Don't worry guys. They're just announcing the stadium & festival shows first, so the full tour announcement will probably come soon :)

wow Green Day and Blur in the same festival? I wish!!!

Blur is coming here, but I'm yet waiting for GD to come, it would be so cool if they came in the same day/same festival... Otherwise I don't really want them to play in a festival :ermm: But, that's better than nothing XD

Imagine the concert is the previous day of an exam (which, being in university, would be a really important one). How am I suppose to enjoy completely the concert knowing I should be studying? Or how am I going to do a good exam being so physically exhausted, tired and generally "disturbed" because of the previous night experience?

That's the main preocupation. Of course, if the concert is like 2 or 3 days far from any exam day there is no problem, but I have 5 exams in the first 2 weeks of June. There is a big chance that the concert coincides with an exam... :ermm:

aren't there 2 rounds of exams? Where you can repeat the ones you fail for example? You can always miss the closest exam and study hard for the "second phase"

I thought they said they are going to do a full UK tour that starts on 01 June 13. But I'm kinda worried too, what if the London date is going to be the only one in the UK... :ermm:

Not going to happen.

That's a possibility I've never liked. =/ That second round is in september, which means facing the exam having being the whole summer with no class (which means no preparation, no security, no practice...). Yes, you can study during weeks and prepare it but to me its just too risky, it's not the same than having the study routine with a teacher during the course. Besides, my parents wouldn't let me go to the concert at the expense of failing an exam, basically for the same reasons I don't like leaving it for september. =/

I agree with him. Would much prefer a stand alone gig. Been to Oxegen way too many times

Well there will obviously be a standalone gig next year. But right now they seem to be announcing festivals so thats why I said Oxegen. Jeez

Oh I understand that... Well, hopefully they won't come during your exams week XD

My second round of exams is during the weeks after the first round, so it's much better.

Buuut I guess your exam is not on the night of the show ... that's what I'm trying to say

I understand what you mean. But then I couldn't have the time to go to another country to see a show, which a lot of people are doing. :)

I'm not so sure they would do a standalone gig and Oxegen.

I know what you mean, cos I'm in the same situation. It's my first year of uni, when all exams, especially of statistic, are the worst. I'm not sure what I'll do if they come to Poland (if they really come) during my exams.

I think they might just be teasing. Doesn't make sense to me they'd only do one show in the UK, I'm sure we can expect an announcement soon hopefully.

I can imagine they have a bit fun because they feed us with announcement step by step... :)

I hope there will come a few more dates!

I don't think they'd ever do just one show in the UK, they're too huge here. It'd be a really poor move. Plus they told us "full UK tour", we just have to wait for the announcement.

I think they're probably just guessing because of Billie's current situation. I'm not gonna take any notice of it.

I hope you are all right guys, otherwise this would really suck if there's gonna be just one UK show.

Well if it comes to that at least the UK got a show. What about everywhere else that didnt. Im sorry but this really annoys me sometimes. People bitch they only get one show blah blah blah. Uk people you usually get 3 or four shows on tour and I still hear people complain. What bout those who dont get a show or 1 show every couple of years. Just saying I get fed up with people bitching when you get more shows normally than the average country.

I don't think most people are bitching really, it's just extremely unusual/unlikely that they'd only play one show in the UK (we actually usually get more like 7 or 8 :P) so people are commenting on that fact. No one knows how many shows they'll play anywhere yet though so not much point in worrying about it.

Bullshit. First of all no way of them only playing one show in the Uk, secondly... Why the fuck should they leave Germany out? They always do several shows here.... Let alone the fact that we were (besides little club shows in England) pretty much the only country that got two big, full concerts last tour. They definitely had/have plans to come here next summer unless Billie Joe's a little liar and only said it so the crowd will freak out

I'm pretty sure Stereoboard's first tweet was asking people what they want to see announced next week, and someone asked about Green Day so they said (or at least meant) no news at the moment.

We're in a weird period at the moment with the Billie situation but once that's resolved there will be lots of European dates i'm sure. It may be a long wait, it may not.

I completely agree with this.

Maybe some stuff will be postponed if they start the US tour later, or maybe they'll go back after Europe. Dunno... I think we can expect a longer wait for announcements than we had hoped though.

I think the European tour will be happening after the Australia Tour because The australia tour is early 2013 Febuary/March

and that is straight after the US tour
