Green Day and Bieber? WTF, was Rebecca Black busy or something?

She refused to play, she only gets down on Fridays.

Finally Green Day will be performing on a show I'll actually be able to watch! They should play Stay The Night.

They will be performing along with Justin Bieber and Ne-Yo.

Hopefully not at the same time.

So is this Wednesday or Thursday? Because the finale, as you mentioned, is on Thursday, not Wednesday. Biebs is performing Thursday

I hate haters. And the hate trends. Nickelback sucks, Bieber is a girl, Stewart has one expression, twilight is a bad love story etc. It's useless and just trendy.

Nickelback does Suck!!, and twilight is overrated if you are as objective as you possibly can!

You not liking it doesn't make it fact.

Twilight's overrated? I don't think it's ever even been rated highly...

The commercial only mentioned Wednesday I believe. But to be honest, I really wasn't paying attention until I heard "Green Day" mentioned.

For a second when I read the OP I thought it said Green Day would be performing with Justin Bieber an Ne-Yo . That would've been interesting.

Looking forward to seeing the boys perform

This is definitely the first of many TV appearances in the next few months!!! This is definitely great marketing by the band so that album sales can skyrocket for many months to come!!! I know they are playing Kimmel and Ellen and I'm sure they are doing Letterman, which they always do when they release new albums! What crazy thing will Tre do at the end this time???

I'm a fan of America's Got Talent, because I love variety shows - give me acrobats and performing dogs and people doing all kinds of strange random shit, anytime, over the god-awful X-Factor/Idol/Voice stuff. Green Day in the mix will be most excellent. :)

I love all the publicity and promotion! Unfortunately I won't be able to see this, my cable company decided to remove part of the american channels it had. Of course Im sure someone here will record it :)

I'm curious as to why people are revolted by Justin Bieber - I think he's pretty talented. However, as I don't want to send this thread way off-topic, I'll just register my curiosity and leave it at that. :)

Justin Bieber is a pop phenomenon. No judgement necessary; he's ridiculously popular with the tween set xP.

So Green Day is gonna initiate some kiddos...

It's a well-known fact that Billie Joe enjoys himself some "reality" television (and loves to criticize it in his lyrics - well, no one's perfect ;) ). It isn't that far fetched to imagine that they might actually enjoy featuring on some of the popular series (competition series... This is not Jersey Shore)
