It's not like the R-rated version will make it better.

It was almost a fools errand to make this a good video, since there really isn't anything to work with...

okay finally found the vid, but i guess it was the clean version, gonna listen to the R rated version tomorrow....

i also think the vid is "meh" - at least the clean version. okay, there's hot chicks, the guys are hot as well (as always :P) and they probably actualized (if that's the right word :D) the meaning of the song, but there's nothing special in the vid imo...

maybe the R rated version will change my opinion :D

just saw the R version. looks like our guys had a real great time

this was my first opinion too :D

I like the new video. Fits to the theme of the new album and new era.

I didn´t expect something SPECIAL like they did in the past for AI or 21CB.

I hope there will be a video for "Kill the DJ" too......this is going to be very exciting :D :D

Dear Sam bayer and Green day,

Lesbianism is not a fetish white girls partake in for your entertainment when they are bored.

That was fucking awful, as a Riot Grrl feminist I expected more from my favourite band, especially a band that supports powerful women's charities, has sponser daughters, and is allied with kathleen hanna.

What would everyone's reaction be if instead of girls making out, it was guys making out?

Confusion.

But it would be a lot more acceptable. I think it sucks, but still, there's some obvious double standards there.

It would be a beautiful "fuck you" to every person who believes that men are sexually discriminated against. You'd finally know it feels

sometimes, our opinions and reactions will change after watching the video over and over.

*as much as i would love to watch the R version again, i don't think it's appropriate to watch it here in the office...who knows who will pop-out behind me while i'm having fun watching. :ninja:

As a song Oh Love is growing on me but the video is just meh, I think Sam has been watching Guns'N'Roses videos for his inspiration.

The R rated is possibly slightly better done than the PG, it's still shit though. I wouldn't feel any different if it was guys rather than girls, it just isn't a good video.

Never mind, I never even watch the music videos I love anyway. Kill the DJ looks a bit better so looking forward to that.

Didn't like the video too much, it didn't convey the best of messages for a younger audience, such as many Green Day fans are. Some who see the video and parents see it, might not send the right family message to the younger fans. The nudity did nothing for me, I don't know why it needed nudity, if I were to make the video I might have showed it with a Christian and Gloria type thing with them being separated and they meet at the climax of the song. But that's just me.

I was disgusted just watching the preview of the video, but after hearing about the things that are in it, I just feel sick. I never thought I would see Green Day doing something like that, but I guess you should never let yourself fully believe in much these days.

They have been my role models for so long, and I wanted my kids to look up to them too, but I am just so shocked I don't even know what to think right now. I know it may seem stupid to most of you guys that I am taking it so emotionally, but its just disappointing to see that something you believed in for so long that just turned out to be something else.... like my girlfriend said, its just like a huge slap in the face...

I still love them and their music, but I am just so disappointed right now that its going to leave a bad taste in my mouth for a long time.

You're a feminist?

I'm all for equality (something we'll sadly most likely never truly reach), but you're not one of those "Fuck men we don't need their sorry asses for anything!" type feminist are you?

I got into an argument with a feminist (radical maybe?) recently who said that women experiencing childbirth is a bar that men will never reach.

That being a single father and raising a kid for 18 years doesn't match the mental strain of child birth.

God, that was the most useless and annoying argument I've ever gotten into.

I personally thought it was pretty scary, like if the chicks were going to take over the world or something :S yet I have to say I do think it makes sense. They are having fun with many girls, which is basically what Oh Love is about.

As a bi person and gay/lesbian rights defender let me say I think you overreacted. And if lesbian girls are considered hot to watch (not to me but...) it's not any problem. I don't think they even care.

I don't like the video. I have watched both version. I think the R rated video annoys me more. I don't want to see boobs I want to see Green Day.

It's Rock n Roll guys...The band has NEVER sold themselves as a family band so I dunno why People are disgusted all of a sudden.

Having said that...the video is boring.
