Oh my god! Billie did such a good job! haha, if I would have came in there I would have been like "Billie Joe..." *faints* I would have gone so fan girl it wouldn't even be funny xD But I'm glad that Deborah (I think that's how she spelled her name) won because she was a true Green Day fan

I liked how when they introduced all the mentors they basically said "With ___ albums sold and ___ Grammy Awards," but for Billie it was "With ___ albums sold, ___ Grammy Awards, and co-creator of the smash Broadway musical American Idiot." Damn straight his resume is the best. I hope all these little clips show up.

Makes me wonder (at least partly) if his stint in the musical is part of what made them want to reach out to him. Cause, I mean, he's definitely not the sort of person a show like this would normally try for.

You can stream the whole episode from different websites. I just watched it on watch-series.com, with a gorillavid link.

I hope GDA posts the BJ part :)

It's honestly not that exciting.

If anyone is only watching the show because of Billie and doesn't even like the show, they will be disappointed. I am watching because of Billie, and I'll probably never watch another season but I actually enjoy watching it progress, and it is cool to see Billie Joe working with these people.

Thanks!

Shame he wasn't on more but when he was on he was delightful :D. I'd never seen The Voice before and I liked it, I really like how it's so focused on actual singing/performing/talent. Really pleased with the winner of the round too, she was definitely the best and I liked what she had to say about Green Day. Looking forward to the next episode! Hopefully they'll show a bit more of Billie actually giving advice at some point lol, but I enjoy just seeing him there anyway.

Hopefully in tonight's episode he actually gives some advice like Michael Buble and Rob Thomas did  Whenever BJ was introduced and they talked about how he has 65 million albums sold and however many Grammy's I felt like a proud parent.

Oh hahaha, I thought that was only me :P

I am a fan of the show, really. I watch The Voice BR, The Voice US, The Voice UK and The Voice AU and I even have a website dedicated to the show, so you can imagine how excited I was to see Billie Joe as a mentor. But I got a little disappointed... Michael Buble and Rob Thomas were soooo great and they had so many thing to say/teach to the artists, great tips and everything and Billie just didnt say anything. He said like two or three lines and thats it, no big deal. I know he's got soooo much to teach/guide these artists, but he didnt say anything worth hearing.

I liked seeing him because I love him, of course, but as a fan of the show it wasn't a great add. Hopefully I'll change my mind after tonight's episode!! That was only the first episode after all! :)

And btw, that "best performance of the night" (according to him it would be) was awful! hahaha I loved De'borah and she was incredible, but the performance itself wasn't good at all. hahaha

I think the two performers they showed him with were already so strong, he didn't really have much to add. I'm sure he could contribute a lot to the discussion but there are aspects which are much more Christina-specific.
