Mar
Look for Billie Joe to be on the following episodes of The Voice: BATTLE ROUND AIR DATE SCHEDULE Oct. 8 - Air 310 - Battle #1 (2 hrs) (8P-10P) Oct. 9 - Air 311 - Battle #2 (1 hr) (8P-9P) Oct. 15 - Air 312 - Battle #3 (2 hrs) (8P-10P) Oct. 16 - Air 313 - Battle #4 (1 hr) (8P-9P) Oct. 22 - Air 314 - Battle #5 (1 hr) (8P-9P) Oct. 23 - Air 315 - Battle #6 (1 hr) (8P-9P) greenday.com posted it. Le sigh, even fast-forwarding through all those episodes will be a pain! I kind of thought he was just there for one episode or something. Instead he'll probably be in 5 seconds of each

Heather.
I love how Billie mostly listed mentors who "can't sing" but make statements with their music. But that belies his own vocal abilities which are a lot better than Dylan and Johnny Rotten. It just makes it doubly ironic that he's on "The Voice" which is supposed to be exclusively vocal ability, but he's taking a "it's not how you sing it's what you sing" mentor approach I'm sure the dumb contestants don't find that as helpful, even though it's so important. I love how much importance Billie places on what you're singing and the sentiment behind it, as opposed to technical ability. Last season Kelly Clarkson was a mentor on the Voice, and she also emphasized that, in her opinion, really communicating the emotion of the song is a lot more important than being able to hit notes perfectly or do crazy runs or whatever. She said that it doesn't matter how technically skilled someone is, it's the ability to emote that counts, and that you're not a really good singer unless you can accomplish the latter. I like that. She and Billie are totally right.

Marrymebilliejoe
love it how he mentions his musical influences and christina millian has no clue of what he's talking about Haha, poor Christina Millian..she did sit there kinda dumfounded by his "mentors." And I'm glad he corrected her..it is NOT uno, dos, and TRES..it is TRE..sigh, she should have asked or something before repeating like 3 times wrong But, I think Billie will be an excellent mentor. I mean anyone can teach people how to sing on pitch and in key or whatever, but it takes a real musician/talent like Billie to teach them how to convey a message through song. Like, that's why he is so amazing live

Vespertine
It'll be really interesting to see Billie working with Christina, especially with the people she has on her team. If I'm remembering right from the blind auditions she has almost exclusively girls on her team who basically just try and sound like her. Haha, yes, exactly. I'm dying to see this. I'm sure Xtina does too, as her own songs aren't exactly flat and emotionless No one would ever teach someone how to sing technically without also trying to get them to emote. Pieces of Truth
God, this is gonna be a long night, and he's probably gonna show up for like... 2 seconds. Aaah, but why do I complain? It's Green Day. Fuck time, what is 1am? Nothing But if it's gonna be as badly filled with adverts as the time they appeared on GMA, I'm seriously going to kill someone. Can't stand that shit.
