Billie Joe on this season of The Voice as a mentor

So apparently it will be quite awhile before the mentors show up, cause the teams are still being formed. I'm all right with that, surprisingly - it's actually pretty interesting to watch (and different from other shows). There is a lot of genre crossover, Cee-Lo seems not to have much of his own genre; people who choose him mainly choose him because they like his songs specifically. But that's cool... Anyway, it's interesting/fun watching Christina's team grow. She has a few interesting people on it so far so it would be cool to see how they work.

Cee Lo doesnt have much of a genre

He performs mainly rap and funk r&b

But he also writes songs for different artists from rap to r&b to pop to rock tothe even country

Funny guy to be around also

Yeah he does he seems to be really diverse which is rare. The only one I don't know anything about is Blake... but as far as his appreciation for the music he's up there with the rest of them.

My thing with Blake on the show is he's a follower he'll only turn around when Adam does lol

Rob Thomas just said that he will be on 6 eps (as CeeLo's mentor). So probably Billie will be too!

And then Rob said that he was the best mentor ever and the interviewer teased back, "take that Billie Joe!"

Where'd you see that? I'd like to watch/read it :)

Also, I wonder if we're going to get any interview things before they start mentoring. Earlier this year I watched the Voice because Kelly Clarkson was a mentor, and in the weeks leading up to the show a lot of interviews with all the mentors (with some sneak previews of them actually mentoring) were posted online. I'd like to see some clips of Billie's interview! If they did that this time. I hope so.

Did anybody watch last night? It makes me sad that Billie is going to have to work with that dreadful husband and wife duo that Xtina was dumb enough to turn around for.

LOL, I'd love to hear some of Billie's unfettered opinions of these people after this thing is over

So I'm guessing there's been no sign of Billie yet?

Nope unless he was on the one or two eps I missed xP which I doubt, they're still picking teams.

Last Night E! said Billie will still appear on the show despite what happened.

He filmed his parts earlier this summer. it'd just be weird if they cut him out at this point.

Right, it's basically what they said, so I didn't understand why they were like "confirming" it.

It means 8pm EST / 7 pm CST. They always show both air times when listing TV shows.
