BJA TC MD
I've still got my ¡UNO! cards. I wrote in exclamation marks on the box And then there's DOS (Disk Operating System)
gerardsangel4977
Now I really want to play Uno (and man, I used to love Kerplunk, but it took for-fucking-ever to set up with all those sticks and the marbles....)

It's Splash Time
I promised I would post it, so here you go! My review of ¡Uno! I wrote for my student newspaper, The BG News, last week. It summarizes my thoughts quite nicely! (I gave it an A-!) http://www.bgnews.co...1a4bcf887a.html Also, if you guys like my review, feel free to check out my student paper's Facebook page and post some comments if you feel inclined to do so. (Link below... it's about 5-6 posts down.) Since our student body is oh-so-educated (sarcasm), right now there's just two guys doing a little circle-jerk of insults directed at me and GD. Gotta love the Internet. https://www.facebook...bgviews?fref=ts [/end shameless plug] I like it At least fans writing it means there's proper research behind the article and they know what they are talking about. What kind of music do those *assholes* that were were saying GD suck listen to?
Elena
me and my friend went to a pizzeria yesterday and then Oh Love started playing in the backround ...my friend is not that of a huge green day fan, but she recognized the song and started to hum the beginning ...and she looked at me, cos she just knew how much i love Green Day and also this song (she btw already told me a few weeks ago that she actually likes Oh Love)

It's Splash Time
I've never played Uno. I saw the ads on tv but never understood how to play That first sentence made me think you meant the album. Uno is a lot of fun, much better than Monopoly.

Kill_the_Kia
More fun than Scrabble for me is Equality (like scrabble but with equations). I've never heard of this game! I think that, here in Italy, it doesn't exist XD lol Edited October 3, 2012 by Kill_the_Kia

Anyway, let's get on topic. Haha I would be insane if I haven't listened the album yet! Maybe I should try it... Exactly my thought. "wtf, she hasn't listened to Uno yet? What? Can't be right." Yes. Try Uno.

What kind of music do those *assholes* that were were saying GD suck listen to? Thank you! Exactly! People said me being a fan means I would be biased in a review, but I think it means I hold them to higher standards. I mean, a little personal bias is in any review, but it doesn't mean you don't back up your claims. (I wouldn't give Warning or 21st CB an A... and I said "Troublemaker" and "Oh Love" were just OK tracks. Didn't say they were ALL amazing and the album was perfect, or anything like that.) Some of the reviews I've read online are just stupid and uninformed. And I'm pretty sure everyone on my campus likes Top 40 hits or hipster music. Nothing in-between. We're such a "liberal" campus, which I guess means everyone has to listen to the same thing, or you get made fun of by the music snobs/elitists. Note: I didn't think my "Uno" picture would be so well-received. It sounds like we need to make a board games club or something to keep this thread on topic!

Actually, I think probably the worst, most hilarious review I've read of Uno so far was from Entertainment Weekly Talk about stupid and uninformed...I think they completely misconstrued the meaning of every single song they mentioned. And then, they went out their way to make the band sound old--even said that Billie Joe wasn't "too young to die". WTF?
