petros
Do you ever think about how it could have gone if Green Day stayed signed to Lookout? I would have a lot more work to do. Including carrying all those giant checks to the bank. Wears me out just thinking about it. lol he is pretty bitter when people ask him about Green Day.I don't blame him.If it's really him I don't know how this works. desertrose
Great article about Chris Dugan and Jingletown studios! Chris Dugan at JingleTown Recording Studio "It's like a fortress. That was my first impression as I approached JingleTown Recording Studio on this dead-end street in Oakland, California. A deceptively dilapidated building surrounded by high walls obscured by vegetation and overgrowth, and a security gate scarcely revealing the parking lot full of vintage cars and motorcycles, amid a working-class residential neighborhood, I was sure I was in the wrong place, or, at the very least, a big-ass rottweiler was coming around the corner eager to turn me into lunch. Owned by Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool of the band Green Day, and operated primarily by Grammy Award-winning audio engineer Chris Dugan, what I found on the inside was a state-of-the-art facility newly opened to the public in November 2012. Stoned out on decongestants and barely recovered from a bout with the flu, and still deaf in one ear from the subsequent sinus infection, I'm not exaggerating when I say it was a challenge to keep the fangirling at bay and stay focused as Dugan walked me through to the inner sanctum." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/melissa-webster/chris-dugan-jingletown_b_2537407.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdrmvrJu-ak

JIGD13
Not sure what is this, I've found it on a South American FB page a documentary/live concerts on TV (like World Stage) maybe? it says "every Friday, starting at 9 pm" It's a radio show I think, for what I understand of it. I speak spanish!

It's going to be the perfect anthem for a crowd. It just sounds great. I actually think all the live tracks sound amazing and will be perfect live. Yaz.
Oh, wow! http://schedule.sxsw.com/2013/events/event_FS13822 BROADWAY IDIOT follows Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong from a punk rock concert at Madison Square Garden to the opening of his musical American Idiot on Broadway - only ten blocks away, but worlds apart. From behind the curtain share in the crazy journey of turning the mega-hit album into a punk rock musical - and ultimately see how the world of theater transformed Billie Joe. I'm not sure if some of this was already on a documentary or what?

Yojimbo
Butch Vig talks mentions Green Day in this interview. http://musicconnection.com/butch-vig-2/ed I like how everybody says that Green Day is like the hardest working bands ever, evidenced by the three albums and now three documentaries.
