farley drexel hatcher
.... not liking what I see of that video so far. At all. Is that billie rolling around with some woman? It's just ... icky, they're all twice those girls ages and it just reeks of objectification which is something I never expected green day to do. It's weird and doesn't seem to have anything to do with "love". If that's their idea of fun, then...
Todd
I have no idea where to put this, but I just realized we cant call dominated love slave and all by myself "Tre" songs anymore to avoid confusion with the album :-(

blitzkriegdeb
This video looks so un-Green Day it's rediculous. I don't know, I'll give it a fair judgement on Wednesday, but it just seems like one of thise cliched "rock and roll/partying with girls" video. Raven93
Please remember there is a PG verision so if you don't wanna see green day rolling with hot girls then just watch that instead of the R rated one It looks fun but I never thought green day would do something like it ( first time for everything I guess )
Eldoon
That clip from MTV is so disconcerting. I was really worried about Sam Bayer returning to direct their videos and this pretty much confirms all of my fears. What a stupid idea for a video. It really puts a bad taste in my mouth for them to do this kind of sub-Mötley Crüe concept for such a yearning song. This is a band who had Kathleen Hanna guest on an album, for chirst's sake. You'd think they'd know better.

kelly42fox
Guys... I hate to point this out, but we're talking about the band who kisses different fans at every show... They've had STRIPPERS on stage.

insomniax
I like what I can see from that clip and I just know that this will be an amazing video, most of all because they worked with Sam angry tank top man Bayer and everything that man does is just brilliant in my opinon. Ratchet
Guys... I hate to point this out, but we're talking about the band who kisses different fans at every show... They've had STRIPPERS on stage. The Strippers in Melbourne at least we're pay back from Jet, there opening band But regardless I kind of like where they're going with this but I kind of don't. But they're are Green Day and we've always being surprised with what they're going to do next.
LittleBoyNamedTrain
I'm not sure if it's just be but I'm going to be supportive of my favourite band until I actually see the video, instead of a low-quality television recording of a few seconds of the video that isn't even the right way around. Trina
So when Green Day have male strippers on stage it's all shits and giggles to the fans but when there's supposedly "scantily-clad" (which is subjective) women in their video everyone is up in arms. Hmm, seems to make people uncomfortable. Before people try and use feminism as an excuse (I'm sure they already are) and say how it's exploiting women, stop yourself and realise - YOU ARE NOT THOSE WOMEN. THEY ARE NOT YOUR BODIES. They can wear what the fuck they want, do what they want and be in a fucking Green Day video, I mean, well done to them, that's pretty fucking great. All the power to them. Nudity/Scantily-clad...ism and Sexyness does not equal exploitation. They were fucking pumped to be in this video so chill. Jeez, I rolled outta bed to see what people were talking about expecting something horror-filled but it's really not that bad. (Though I doubt it'll be a favorite of mine, infact I expect it could be pretty cringy and not very Green Day but I expected a departure and I expected some bull and some greatness from Sam Bayer. Anyways, that's a different rant for a different night. But I'm guessing this will be the bull - I expect greatness for Kill The DJ.) Okay I don't know what I'm saying and my contacts aren't in and I can't see so I'm going back to bed, byeeee SPOILER ALERT: The rest of the video is Tre giving oral to that girl whose crotch he's eyeing up. Enjoy!

Vespertine
I have no problems with "sexy" music videos or songs at all. What's bothering me is the fact that I simply can't associate Oh Love with any of that. Why would they even consider making a sex-themed video for such song? Vespertine
Because this is where romance and love and desire become confused?? Because this is where Green Day goes from rock opera to cock opera? But we are talking about a bunch of sexy girls surrounding the band; That's not very romantic at all and seems completely unrelated to the song's lyrics. I'm not saying music videos should always portray the exact lyrical content of the songs they're meant for, but it seems to me there's just a huge gap between Oh Love and that clip. I could be wrong, of course.
