Guest MadeInRatCity
The author of this one doesn't surprise me. Gladstone hates Green Day! He always tries to stick in an insult in most of his columns. That's why I don't respect him. Don't know why Cracked has to be so hostile towards them. Green Day has done nothing to wrong them. There are plenty of hilariously terrible bands out there they could bash instead. It's not funny or cute, it's just pathetic and ignorant. Come on Cracked, suck it up and show some respect! I usually just brush it off when I see what new things they've written about Green Day, but it's getting really old now and I'm sick of it! When a punk band gets big u're sure to get that kind of stuff.
Slave To The Network
When a punk band gets big u're sure to get that kind of stuff. Even so, that was a really offensive thing to say about Billie! It got me so angry, I made a Cracked account just so I could post this: I just want to say that I too am a liberal and have no problem with this article, except for one thing: I am fed up with Cracked's, and particularly Gladstone's, attitude towards Green Day and Billie Joe. They are an excellent band and he is a brilliant musician. They have done nothing to wrong you. There is no reason to hate them. There are plenty of hilariously awful bands out there to dump on, so there is no need to rip Green Day to shreds all the time. That remark about Billie Joe was particularly offensive and disgusting. Think about his career and his life and you'll find that it is extremely impressive that he even went this long without slipping up like he did at the iHR Music Festival. After that, he realized it was a mistake, apologized, and took the steps necessary to fix the problem without a big deal. He handled the situation far more elegantly than most celebrities would have if they were in his place. So suck it up and show some respect for this great band and the great people who are in it! The Grohl
This isn't anything major but there's an article on NME recaping what Mike said on Zane's radio show if anyone is interested: http://www.nme.com/news/green-day/66532 I thought it was interesting since I haven't listened to the show yet
sampy
Finnish radio station Radio Rock is having Rocktober and every week they have one exclusive band during the month and every week someone lucky can win tickets for this band's gig. On last week of October they're having Green Day! They don't mention which show(s) you can win the tickets, but it says that the shows are all over the world. Other weeks have Muse, Aerosmith, Linkin Park and Kiss. I think that's pretty badass line-up.

sampy
Also, the newest issue of Finnish music magazine Sue has an interview with Billie Joe. There's actually nothing new. It's translated so it's not originally Finnish and I'm not sure if it's published somewhere else already. Billie talks about casual stuff about trilogy, politics and his guitars. But he mentions that Boo might do some more stuff when the whole family's together and when they have time for it. And when the interviewer asks about other sideprojects, Billie answers that Foxboro Hot Tubs might do some gigs at some point and then he asks: "Am I member of The Network? That I can't agree or disagree." Here's a scans of it, because it's free magazine, the article on pages 12-13 (it's in Finnish): http://www2.lehtiluu...mFzIjoxMDAwfQ==

If you hear 3 Green Day songs on air in a row and send them a sms, you can win Green Day discography and hoodie. Last week there was Muse time. I'm curious who's the owner of those radio stations. I won't be surprised if a German owns both of them
