Basically it's not really new merch, it's the tour merch. I find it funny that the price combined with shipping is cheaper than the price at the concerts

Really? It must cost a hell of a lot at gigs then.

Just got this e-mail :)

"GREEN DAY - Brand New Merchandise!

¡Uno! (available on September 25th) is the first release in the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, Tré! trilogy from Green Day.

Said Billie Joe,

"This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming. Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. We just can't help ourselves ... We are going epic as f**k!"

To celebrate the release of ¡Uno we have a whole new range available at the Green Day official online store. Visit us now and check out the new releases and 2012 tour range.

That's not all, spend over £35 before the 1st October 2012 and receive a mystery item absolutely free. Don't miss out!"

oh god, just saw that Billie said that Bon Jovi was the worst band they toured with in the video text and oh god, i just thought my friend'll be a bit upset about it, cos she's a huge Bon Jovi fan (though also an even bigger Green Day fan :P)

Speaking of the Bon Jovi article, how is Green Day not winning the "Who would you rather see perform live?" poll?? Obviously Green Day's the best live band there is! They should be winning. Especially considering the other two options. :P

Ugh slim fit is the bane of my fucking fat existence

NME: Billie says Bon Jovi worst band he's played with

This is even in a Portuguese music site/mag XD It's just one more thing for people to bash them, gaah.

Either way, He said the best was The Hives, which made me happy! I love the Hives :D (but, I didn't know they played with either of those bands, when was that?!, maybe I just don't remember)

BASKET CASE AT GMA!

Lovely performance, only what's with Bilie's pronounciation? Or is it just the video?

It's Billie, I watched it when it aired. He also pronounced some things in Holiday different.

He was probably sleepy.

Guest As Good As It Gets
Exactly what does a "punk" band expect to happen? Did they think now nearly 50 year old Bon Jovi and crew were going to hang out and talk about bondage pants and creepers? This is like me saying hanging out with my father at a nightclub was boring.

Comment on the Bon Jovi article that nails the issue on the head. I'd take Billie Joe more seriously if the singles from the new album were actually decent, but unfortunately they suck

Re: Bon Jovi article

I want to know what he was being a "total diva" about

super cool new green day shirt at Hot Topic! http://www.hottopic....hirt-980570.jsp

I like the design! except one minor flaw: Mike is before Billie. Not the correct order I'm afraid! Kinda ruins the legitimacy of it

Oh god slim fit. No

I don't think it at all ruins anything about it... Billie's in the middle, where he usually is on stage with his bandmates surrounding him. I don't see a problem with the order. Just because he's the front man? Idk, I've seen a few things copy this layout. I can't find them right now, but I even remember GMA this morning (I think) showcased each cover on cell phones and they were organized with Billie in the center.

No they don't. Oh love is the worst of the 4 and kill the DJ isn't to everyone's style, but the others are pretty awesome

They never toured with Bon Jovi, they only played one show with them (a charity one with loads of bands) and it was 18 years ago. If you look at Billie's quote you'll see he never said they were "no fun to share a stage with" either, he just said they were the worst band they'd played with since he was asked to name one and didn't say why. The comment is based entirely on the false information and embellishments of the crappy article and is irrelevant :P

Me too! Someone should ask him.

On the contrary, Oh Love and Kill The DJ are the best, though not to everyone's taste because sometimes it takes a while to get accustomed to epic perfection. :sherlock::lol:

And the rest of the songs are pretty awesome too.

For all we know, Billie could have been joking when he said that. He might not have meant that Bon Jovi absolutely sucks or anything. The comment was blown out of proportion a bit.

Exactly, they just asked for the best and worst band so he picked one, it was a throwaway comment not to be taken seriously. The rest is all just added by NME to try and make a story out of it.

Edit: Seems there's now a thread for the Bon Jovi article so lets keep discussion of it there:
