InsideOut
Gilman Street on list of 5 concert venues to visit before you die http://blogs.houston...bucket_list.php Cool. This link led me to another recent article on the site that includes Green Day. (They're at #6) Braving the Boos: Bob Dylan and 10 More Artists Unafraid to Piss Off Their Fans "In honor of Dylan's bold kiss-off to the folk scene, Rocks Off has collected ten more superstar artists who have shocked fans with abrupt shifts in musical direction. Some of them went on to huge success; others watched their careers wither overnight. But all of them took a risk. We like that." http://blogs.houston...b_dylan_and.php

~ Walking Contradiction
Interview with Rob Cavallo about the making of the trilogy: http://www.hitsdaily...XlGdUMQ.twitter ¡Dos! boasts (among other tracks) heady, hormonal fare like “Fuck Time,” “Wild One” and “Makeout Party”; the lovely acoustic ballad “Drama Queen”; the dubby, clubby “Nightlife” (featuring a sinuous rap by Lady Cobra); and garage-psych nugget “Wow, That’s Loud!,” the title of which refers not to the music but to a “dirty party dress” sported (no doubt temporarily) by one of the narrator’s nocturnal companions. ¡Tré! (slated for a 1/15/13 release) is arguably the most ambitious of the three albums, tying together tasty, irresistible pop-rock like “Missing You,” “Stray Heart” and “Sex, Drugs and Violence”; the string-laden, gospel-tinged “Brutal Love”; the pivoting suite “Dirty Rotten Bastards” (which Cavallo likens to Idiot’s “Jesus of Suburbia”); the Occupy-worthy anthem “99 Revolutions”; and the cinematic, Beatlesque finale, “The Forgotten,” which ends the odyssey on a gorgeously affirmative note. Whoa, that's a great article!! So now "Sex, Drugs, and Violence" and "Dirty Rotten bastards" are indeed confirmed, and "Missing You" (from those fake tracklists?) is truly a song on Tre. Interesting to know! I love hearing about each of those songs! It's so exciting! One of my favorite parts of the article is when they said, "WBR staffers who spoke to me about the albums tended to sound more like geeked-out superfans than industry veterans." Thanks for sharing the article!!
Alan86
Great article, thanks for posting. Dirty Rotten Bastards" which Cavallo likens to "Jesus of Suburbia" Very interesting And Stray heart is TRE again?
Requila
Great article Makes me really excited. From all what I've heard I think both Dos and Trè are going to be my favourites, and I'm already blown away by what I heard from Uno. And every track he confirmed is on the right album and spot from the track-lists we've got from that Spanish website. They might be real. I don't think anyone knew whether it was fake or real. Hermione
There's now a thread for the Rob Cavallo interview so let's discuss it there. Btw please don't post the same thing in multiple threads. If you have something to post relating to the new albums either make a new thread for it, or if you don't think it deserves one post it in the Uno Dos Tre thread. You don't have to post everything in Random News.
