Green Day Random News

This is not exactly news (it's random, though ) but I didn't know where else to post it. I've just watched the "Oscar Countdown" of the german television channel Pro7. One of the moderators checked out a lot of esteemed facilities in Hollywood, some sort of "behind the scenes". He went to a cocktail bar near a very famous hotel there and sat down at "table 4" with the bartender. That is, as they said "where the celebrities sit". And the moderator than smiled into the camera and said: "Right now, I am sitting here. But usually, it's the boys from Green Day sitting here, slurping their cocktails." There was a picture of them hanging behind that table.

That's amazing! I think Green Day should perform at/present at the Oscars sometime. :ninja:

What?! Man...I don't feel so special about the March 28th show being the "first" show :P Either way if it's true it's great that they're getting back out there.

El Paso? I wonder if they are riding a bus from California to SXSW?

I saw you said this in the new thread too, but I think you could be onto something. A nice little bus ride to calm the nerves and do a few shows along the way. Sounds like fun!

That's what you think. As an insider, I know that he actually goes into depth about the lyrics and meaning of City of the Damned.

Green Day: Top 10 Songs From the 90′s

American punk rock band Green Day story started out in Rodeo,

California, when 14-year-old childhood friends Billie Joe Armstrong and

Mike Dirnt formed their first band Sweet Children. With the success of

their album Dookie in 1994, Green Day contribute in the revival of Punk

Rock during the 1990’s, a decade, seen many, as the golden days of the

band.
