Just thought I'd bring this up...the guy who arranged and conducted horns & strings on Brutal Love and The Forgotten, did background vocals and piano on Brutal Love and did string arrangements on 21CB is also the music supervisor, orchestrator and music arranger for AI: The Musical :D He dressed like Billie Joe for it! Thank you Tom Kitt...

I didn't know C&V was supposed to sound more Kerplunk-ish :S Now I wish I could listen to it. And whoever stole it kept it for himself forever

A lot of people on IC sent pictures and messages to create a photobook for Billie, to show their support. One way or another they managed to give it to his management some days ago, and now he received it! "BJ got the book. Said it was really sweet and to say a big thank you to all. He is not using Twitter. "

I think this is awesome! (even if I didn't send a message, d'oh)

I really doubt they got stolen

They were analog recorded so lets say the masters were ADATs ADATs are the same size as VHS tapes... lets assume GD was using 24 tracks on a track (6 tracks for drums 6 tracks for vocals etc) so that means 3 ADATs tapes per song (ADATs store 8 tracks per tape) they said they had 20 songs finished that's at least 60 tapes someone would notice someone walking out with 60 tapes while every studio is different bit most studio sealing with bands and escp labels require them to sign forms before walking out with the actual masters i think the band just didnt feel the spark and scrapped it and rather admit that the songs werent top notch shape just said "oh the masters got stolen" and as time went on just re tooled some songs for future release (ie Too Much Too Soon and possible Walk Away)

Hey guys check this out Yahoo listed Across the Universe as one of the worst/weirdest Grammy performances ever. Another article is about "American Idiot" not winning a Grammy in another catergory.

Was this an Idiot Club exclusive thing? I don't really pay attention that club... too many "soon" promises... I do wonder if he ever got the collab video we made around the time of the Kerrang! magazine article. My picture made it into the magazine but who knows if he actually saw it. It's the thought that counts I guess.

Oo oo what DVD is this?

The "Between Us There Is Nothing" fan-made video we were discussing earlier in the thread. Not sanctioned by the band so who knows what to expect. It's due out pretty soon.

A member came up with the idea, not actually the IC...like the collaboration videos on GDC!
