petros Posted July 30, 2012 Share Posted July 30, 2012 I am having trouble ordering mine I bought a $100 visa giftcard and have tried it 3 times but every time it says there was an error and that I should try again later. I even checked the card balance on the visa website and it says there is $100 on the card so I don't know what the problem is I've used these visa giftcards on online shopping before and they've always worked since I don't have a credit card. Has anyone had the same issue or know what I should do? I really want to order the ultimate box set! You get an email a day later telling you this. I tried contacting the customer support and I got Sean who was rude and condescending. I am still waiting on a reply from a manager 4 days later. I am thinking they are ignoring me. The guy had the balls to tell me they cant include everything that is not included when I asked why its not stated that exclusive merch isnt and he said "we cant list everything that is not included...like backstage passes arent included." So I asked what is the difference between this Idiot Club membership and the other one I have been paying for for the last 10 years...his answer...just the merchandise...So I guess they COULD have included a small disclaimer. When it says "digital album" that means, you can download it off of iTunes or whatever right? And then the actual CDs each come on their street dates in the 40 page booklets, right? All this "digital" stuff is confusing me. And that's the same with the singles right, they're digital so you would get them off of iTunes or something? Aaand one last thing, if you're not in the States, will the downloads from iTunes even work for you? I'm not understanding how it's not full? We'll still get pre-sale tickets and shit... All I really care about with the Idiot Club is the pre-sale tickets, and the news we get 5 minutes before GDC. They'll send you an email with the download link, click it + you're sorted. No you got a disclaimer after the purchase and nothing was said before. I got into it with the support guy Sean from Idiot Club and he confirmed that you only get that info after the order. If you can find it before completing the order, please post it for me. I know we get an email that says its extra but only AFTER the order is completed. And that's what I thought but according to this Sean guy at the Idiot Club support when u get the bundle it's not a full membership...apparently it's some thing else...and we don't get any merchandise. Even a sticker shears. It's supposed to be a postcard pack. I collect green day memorabilia. This has a value to me, regardless of how small the item is. My membership coupon was for $28 which seems to be a full membership. But what bugs me is that there was no disclaimer before purchase only after. I get it that we are all green day fans so nothing with their name on it can do wrong, but it's a business and a company like any other. The band has nothing to do with it. Obviously it won't be delivered at Uno's release date cause it's supposed to have the two other unreleased albums on it as well, right?
