oda
Warner just emailed me for the second time saying I should now be able to download "Oh Love" I then tried it and had the exact same problem as before. IDIOTS! Warner would want to start taking the finger out Did you figure it out yet? I got a reply today, and it said i should try again as well. Didn't work. whatserbmae
I e-mailed the GD store a few days ago with a few questions about the pre-order, I especially wanted to know if I will get the albums, or at least the digital download on the release date here in Norway (September 21) and they just replied with one sentence "You should order through http://preorder.greenday.com", which links to the US store - and I definitely can't order from there as it would give me the wrong region for the DVD plus shipping is more expensive. Really disappointed in their customer service now, that wasn't helpful at all. Those of you that did contact the store, was it greendaystore@warnerbrosrecords.com you got a reply from? Just wondering if there is some other e-mail address I can write to, which might be more helpful in actually answering my questions. I e-mailed Warner a couple days back and get a reply the day after. I used this e-mail address: customerservice@warnerartists.net. I don't think there will be any extra taxes or handling fees, will there? I ordered mine from the German store with the hope to get the CD's as early as possible. But as Oda wrote, the total I paid was about 84 Euro, taxes were included in the total price of 70 Euro and then there was the shipping fee 14 Euro. I think that's it? That's what they charged me at least and I don't think they can charge more if I haven't agreed to more than 84 Euro? I don't know how it works in Sweden, but if you already paid tax when you ordered it, it probably works different than here. We're not a member of the EU and have special (stupid) rules for import. All imports are checked in customs, and to everything with a value over €27 there will be added a 25% tax (VAT) plus a €17 handling fee, that you have to pay at the post office before they let you have your package. It sucks and it makes the total price for the Ultimate Box set €126 (where €86 of it is paid to the web store.)
Alan86
Did you figure it out yet? I got a reply today, and it said i should try again as well. Didn't work. No I still haven't got it. I emailed them again but probally won't hear anything till Monday now. I hope there won't be similar problems for each single/album download. petros
I asked them something similar about the extra payments and that's what they said: "We ship from Germany for the UK and EU. All other countries are shipped form the United States. If shipping from the United States to an address outside the United States, you will be responsible for any and all import taxes, tariffs and duties upon receipt of any parcel we send to you." So I think from whenever you order it you will be shipped from the US...

Oh I forgot about Norway not being a member of the EU That really sucks that you have to pay these extra taxes and fees I emailed customerservice@warnerartists.net, both in English and German. I thought they had different addresses but it was the same . I got a really helpful reply in German the day after and after 2 days in English. The English one was shorter and didn't really had a good answer but it was still nice and it said I should contact them again if I need more help. GuitarPunk94
they ship from germany?! thats why the price for sending the packages away is so cheap this means we germans should get the albums very first..we will probably even be the first ones who can listen to the records ^^

From what they told you it seems like I have to order from the US as Norway is outside of the EU, but will try to contact them again to ask if I'll still get the right region for the DVD. It's Splash Time
I'm probably in a minority here where I actually prefer digital, especially cost-wise. Here, what interests me more is the 40 page books. I just want to hold them, ya'know? I wouldn't mind going for the digital box set otherwise. It's interesting that they are shipping from Germany, but I guess their release date is first, so they should be the closest anyway.
Doll Parts
My mom pre-ordered this for my birthday! It's a kind of odd birthday gift since it's so spread out, but I really want this so that's fine with me.

GuitarPunk94
My mom pre-ordered this for my birthday! It's a kind of odd birthday gift since it's so spread out, but I really want this so that's fine with me. at the time we were all waiting for ONE new GD album (the ninth) my mom promised me to pay the album for me as a birthday present...but now there are 3 CDs but i decided that she only has to pay one, like she promised, ill pay for the other two ^^ I do work for Warner Home Video my person there says they have no plans for a stand alone release for the making of album dvd if there was it'd be on their release paper... of course it could change ya..thats exactly what the support told me too they told me that she(the worker at support) can not tell me why the dvd is 'exclusive' in the ultimate bundle set, but she told me that the Making of-DVD CUATRO wont be a standalone-product and is only available via the preorder thing..hopefully there will be a 'normal' version as a standalone product since there is this exclusive version, so the fans who wont preorder the trilogy can still get the dvd
Stefano Bras
I have a question... maybe is a silly question hahah anyway... I don't think it's really that surprising that they ship from Germany since Warner Music Germany coordinates the business for (whole) central Europe. WestboundSign!
I think it's good that they ship from Germany, especially for us Germans. But also better for Europeans than having it shipped from the US. This way, it's a lot more reliable that the things arrive the day they should. At least when it comes to being hold up by customs. Yes you can sign up, they send you a mail with a code, then you go to idiotclub.com , follow the instruction of the mail. but the code doesnt expire so you can wait to green day announce official tour dates, so you will able to pre-order tickets to they concerts. Hope help you.
