If it's backwards, why not make it upside-down too? :P

Do you listen to the song upside down too? :P

Why is it backwards?

Improvement: dont make it backwards

Really? I thought everyone would know it by now. You can play a song backwards with a program like audacity. Very easy to do.

Well, for you and the others who didn't know the backwards "don't test me" line in East Jesus Nowhere:

I want that shirt...I'd surely buy it.

But that's just me who loves everything that's different :P

Love this idea for the shirt! I never knew it was backwards in the song! If you're keeping with the theme of 21st Century I WAS going to say make the lettering a little more rough edged but I see that it's done backwards or the opposite too and that's a very cool idea. WITTY!

Love the idea. However, I think I'm tired of buying cool black men's black t-shirts that don't fit well. Would love a v-neck, more fitted for women, type of shirt.

Also, I really love the mirror image idea and that only a true Green Day will "get it." Nice job M!KEY!

Me too, I have enough men's black Green Day shirts. I'd prefer women's t-shirts in maybe another color. Maybe like the Apathy shirts, so, black design on a white shirt? :)

(Also, I still think that if you want to have GDA's name somewhere in there, you could add spray paint cans or something to the design that say Green Day Authority. Just an idea. Probably not such a good idea for this particular design now that I thought about it again.)

I like how the design is quite simple, while it clearly is a reference to a song!

What people said about the letters being flipped, and having more fitted t-shirts, really. I would probably get it if you had wee fitted sizes, because I too am tired of pyjama-esque tees. It's enough that most starting bands only make large t-shirts, aha.

Is there anything on the back?

You could put 'DTS na evah yam I'. That would go well with the statement on the front! :P

We can definitely have women's shirts as well like the apathy shirts.

I now feel stupid about not knowing about the "Don't test me" backwards In the song  on the other hand How could I know.

Anyway it's an awesome t-shirt! If it's made for women too and I have the money I'll may buy it.

I do like the design and I think a women's one in a different colour would be awesome - maybe red or purple or something. :)

One more tiny weeny thing though, can you get extra smalls? :) Realise it's kind of a lot to ask so completely understand if it's just a no.

Yeah this is a good idea too. You can't get an XS in most Green Day shirts and it'd be cool if it was available for this one.

I hope you realise how amusing your posts are. :P

Dear Andres,

The sexy Greek guy likes the shirt inspired by my shirt inspired by Green Day... mass production! Now!

For anyone who's interested, here's the original shirt that I had made for the July 4th, 2009 Green Day show here in Vancouver. The front was EJN inspired, the back combined 21stCB, the whole graffiti theme, and some imagery I felt suited the lyrics from Restless Heart Syndrome.

I agree with what a lot of other people are saying: Have a fitted women's shirt would be great. Guy's shirts just look too huge and shapeless on me.

Also, it'd be great in another color. Everything's always in black! Maybe bring in the colors of 21CB? Or like someone else said, with a brick looking background so that it has the graffiti style? That would look cool.

Overall I love the design though! EJN is one of my favorite songs, and that backward line on a shirt is really clever. Only real GD fans will have any clue that it's a Green Day reference!

I love it as I love the "Six Pack of Apathy" shirt, which I proudly own! My only issue would be that strange men would stare at my boobs from half-a-block away trying to figure out what it said. :creep:

Personally I liked M1KEY's original design with the crosses and bombs because it was more themed toward the song itself.
