valeriesername
i love how claudio says, " tre cool, como siempre bien loco" ->"tre cool, crazy as always" he also said that "let youself go" sounds more like the "past green day" also, that his favorite disc out of all thre was dos, becuase it started off with lady cobra, and a song called "night light"(?) that it's going to surprize us because it is something that green day has never done before, that has a rap essence, and is done by a girl, and that its a "grand" song And that kill the dj was someting that doesnt really sound like green day, but is very "recomendable"

Karol Oliveira
GREEN DAY IN LATIN AMERICA NEXT YEAR, I've never been so excited! I'm wondering when exactly... and if it includes Brazil, of course. Of course it wll include Brazil... we're important (now)! I just hope they don't come for a festival.
worldowesme
So according to the video (4:00), the song with the girl rap is called Nightlife, and there's another song called Lady Cobra (the interviewer's favorite). So for what it's worth, Lady Cobra (the rapper) may not necessarily be featured in Nightlife.
WalkingContradictionPL
I'm a bit scared of "a bit like raps" but if it sounds like "Graue Panther" or "Rock Me Amadeus" by Die Toten Hosen, it would be definetelly ok and allright for me.

Cris.
I don't think he means Kill the DJ is rap-ish, just that "it doesn't sound like Green Day".... which could mean it's rap-ish, since that's not very Green Day like Literally he says "[¡Dos!] has a song that will surprise many because it doesn't sound at all liek something that Green Day has done before, it's called Night Live(this is what I think he says it's called), it even has some kind of rap by a girl, but if you listen to this song with an open mind you'll realize it's a GREAT song, even if it doesn't sound like Green Day... in fact in ¡Uno! there's a song that's called Kill the DJ that you'll say "well this doesn't sound much like Green Day" but it's highly recommendable"
Heather.
He definitely thinks Dos is the best! I loved that he said there's such a variety, like the acoustic of Warning (which is one of my favorite albums). He seems really excited.

Heather.
Someone please makes a transcription of this? I can't understand half and the audio sucks It's pretty long to transcribe (though if someone is more generous than myself, by all means!)... I think the summary at the top is completely adequate in describing all the important things he said though, other than his excitement about the song Nightlife and the rap, and how different and cool Kill the DJ is. Cris.
Someone please makes a transcription of this? I can't understand half and the audio sucks About the AI movie he says "they're still on the plans of doing the movie American Idiot... it seems the director who will be doing the movie is already set", he says they also talk about FBHT, Green Day's future, their experience in the idnuction of the hall of fame, "especially by Billie Joe", and their participation in The Simpsons. Then about the albums he says, "the advantage of releasing 3 albums is that there are many songs, os they have the opportnity to experiment with different sounds and I think Green Day did this very well. In the Case of Uno the first single, Oh Love, is a very good song, maybe much more "light" (the word he uses is, literally, digestable), maybe there will people who'll say "well where's the punk sound they told us about?" Don't worry, don't be misguided by the appearance [of this song] because Oh Love is a very good song, but maybe more commercial. But in the same album Uno there are many songs that are a lot like their old sound, like some of my favourites Let Yourself go, which I think is a song that resembles what was the old Green Day, and Troublemaker, I think it's also a good song. But out of the three records, my favourite was Dos, because it has as at the beginning my favourite song out of the three records, which is called Lady Cobra, and I think will be a great great hit, and... [¡Dos!] it has a song that will surprise many because it doesn't sound at all liek something that Green Day has done before, it's called Night Live(this is what I think he says it's called), it even has some kind of rap by a girl, but if you listen to this song with an open mind you'll realize it's a GREAT song, even if it doesn't sound like Green Day... in fact in ¡Uno! there's a song that's called Kill the DJ that you'll say "well this doesn't sound much like Green Day" but it's highly recommendable" ¡Tré!, I couldn't listen to it all, just a part, and it's a very balanced and well accomplisehd (or well made) album. In general I truely liked all three, I think they'll be a hit. I like that they're going back on that oldy sound, that wasn't necessarily purely punk. Green Day aso characterized for having great songs that were like ballads with acustic guitar. There are many songs of Green Day in the past that also had a more calmed style. I think they accomplish this in the 3 albums. Great band, great attitude..." He interviewed them in Newport Beach, California. And he listened to ¡Uno! entirely, and just parts of ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! Edit: sorry if my grammar and/or spelling was a bit odd. I was writing as I listened for most of it, so I had to keep the pace. And I've always found the way mexicans speak (how they use words and even some of the words they use) to be very odd.
