Annie, get your gun
I'm sick of every rap video posted on every page and saying that Green Day did rap on some parts of songs when they actually didn't. You haven't even heard the so-called rap song yet but started to compare already

Todd
Yeah! @Maraliza_Grita replied!! "Yes, it was number 4 if I remember well, in Tre" Also, "Uno has 12, Dos 13 and Tre, 12!" But Billboard says it's on Dos... Which one do we believe?
The Pedestrian
Did you read Billboard and find out what that song's about? Haha. I fail to see why thats funny. Either you’re laughing at Danny for liking that title when the song is about such an emotional subject, in which case, why? It’s still a really intriguing and memorable title. Or you find the subject of the song funny. I sincerely hope it’s the first option. That way you’re only a being a bit of an arse.

lizziebix
Sorry, I just thought someone was laughing at the situation Billie described in the Billboard Article and got a bit annoyed Pretty sure Danny hadn't read the article when he posted. He just likes the song title and doesn't (didn't) know what it's about.
basKT_case90
But Billboard says it's on Dos... Which one do we believe? Do we know when the Billboard article was written? It makes mention of interviewing Billie during the mastering session, and that was a few weeks ago. Perhaps between then and now, they moved the song from Dos to Tre, and the Latin interviewer was indeed correct. Just guessing...
Cris.
I thouht Lady Cobra wasn't a song, but the rappist in Nightlife It is a song, and it is the first one in ¡Dos! or at the very least, one of the first. As I translated in the first page, the interviewer from telehit says "But out of the three records, my favourite was Dos, because it has as at the beginning my favourite song out of the three records, which is called Lady Cobra, and I think will be a great great hit", or in Spanish (since I know you're spanish) what he said was literally "Pero de los tres discos, mi favorite en mi particular punto de vista es el ¡Dos!, fue mi disco favorito de los tres, de verdad, muy rifado, ¿por qué? porque tiene de entrada la rola que mas me gustó de los tres discos que se llama Lady Cobra, y además...." and then he starts talking about another song called Nightlife, etc. And I must say I read through the last 4 pages or so of this thread and couldn't help but imagine the guys from Green Day sitting in a corner around a computer, reading this thread and dying from laughter

Todd
Sorry, I just thought someone was laughing at the situation Billie described in the Billboard Article and got a bit annoyed Sorry. I can see how you find that offensive. I guess I wouldnt find it funny if I was in their shoes. Just another example of me not thinking before I speak. I can be a dick sometimes :-p But judging by the small bit of lyrics that were provided, I'm looking forward to hearing this song. Billie never fails to provide beautiful lyrics. perfectpitchrob
Well that confirms that not only is Lady Cobra a song on Dos!, but also the guest singer of a section of "Nightlife". "The Forgotten"...Now there's a new song title
gerardsangel4977
I think "State of Shock" and "little boy named train" were working titles for "loss of control" and "rusty james". Just my speculation. And I'm hoping Lady Cobra will be as awesome as it's been made out to be. If Tre apparently has a new tattoo of a lady cobra on his arm, then he must really love the song! According to the new article in Billboard, "Little Boy Named Train" is, indeed, it's own song. it hasn't been renamed Well that confirms that not only is Lady Cobra a song on Dos!, but also the guest singer of a section of "Nightlife". "The Forgotten"...Now there's a new song title Actually, I believe "The Forgotten" was mentioned in Rolling Stone...I feel lik I remember seeing it in there. basKT_case90
Actually, I believe "The Forgotten" was mentioned in Rolling Stone...I feel lik I remember seeing it in there. Yeah it was mention in Rolling Stone, as just "Forgotten". Unsure it "the" is actually part of the official title.
Comic Sans
According to the new article in Billboard, "Little Boy Named Train" is, indeed, it's own song. it hasn't been renamed Does this article confirm any not-confirmed song (like Ashley, Gabriella, 8th Avenue Serenade, Dreamcatcher, Oh Girl, Soda Pop Curtis ecc...)? Edwood
Does this article confirm any not-confirmed song (like Ashley, Gabriella, 8th Avenue Serenade, Dreamcatcher, Oh Girl, Soda Pop Curtis ecc...)? 'Soda Pop Curtis' is most likely now the song 'Rusty James' on UNO, as both song titles are charter names from S.E. Hinton novels ("The Outsiders" and "Rumble Fish"). WestboundSign!
I'm loving the fact that everybody who has already listened to this trilogoy is super happy with how it turned out to be. Seems like these three albums are way more amazing than we can actually imagine right now..
Sixtrix
What I find very interesting is that none of the interviewers, after listening to the three albums or parts of the 2nd and 3rd, have not said that there were parts in it that were slightly boring or less powerful. Instead they are extremely enthusiastic about everything they got to listen to. Considering that with a double album or a trilogy there is the risk that the entire concept does not flow very smoothly or has some weaker moments, or even a less interesting album. It kind of looks like they actually managed to create 3 solid albums. If that's the case, then I am going to lay down and remain horizontally positioned until I am able to deal with all this excitement and explosion of emotion.
