Definitely gonna be the best of the three. The whole power pop/pop punk thing is cool, but they did that already. The whole... "epic" thing is cool, but they did that twice. Never heard a garage-rock record from Green Day, so I'm friggin' pumped.

yeah I think i'm most excited for Dos! as well. I dunno, it just sounds like the most different/interesting sound out of what we've heard about the new albums! Although I'll never say for sure until I actually hear all of them all the way through.

The story goes that Tre bit a live octopus while on the Asian part of their last tour. It wasn't really a very pleasant story, imo. But very typical Tre.

Totally---no matter how good the songs were on the last album, it's really hard to personally *relate* to songs about genocide and corruption and pharmaceutical companies. It's interesting and thought-provoking, but you're never gonna feel like "this is the anthem of my life" like you might have felt with Longview or Jesus of Surburbia, or anything they wrote in between.
