I didn't expect the trailer coming so soon at all! :woot: I loved it so much and got so exited I smashed my head on the table :lol:

So long as nothing goes wrong between now and them finishing the mixes, this is turning out to be the best sounding Green Day album yet. In the Rolling Stone scans, Rob Cavallo talked about stripping the instrumentation down for these records, and boy is it obvious in this latest clip.

Seriously - how fucking fresh and alive does It's Fuck Time sound here? It's nothing like as compressed as the songs on 21CB, or even American Idiot. Listening to this, you can really hear each instrument breath. It's not tiring to listen to, it won't sound like garbage if you turn up. Cavallo and Chris Lord-Alge have captured some amazing guitar sounds, which are finally the match for the booming drums Ocean Way is renowned for.

Like most people, I felt the music in the Uno trailer was a new direction for the band, but not necessarily an invigorating one. This? Fuck! :runaround:

I loved the trailer! I can't wait for these albums. Did anyone else notice the bush riding a motorcycle at 5 seconds into the video. I'm guessing that was Tre. Looks like something Tre would do. :lol:

I would have preferred the music without the "Yeahs" and "woohs" in there, I thought it was too much (the laughing was nice through).

I just preferred it like it was before.

About the cover, I predicting the colours, but I thought the picture would be cooler, Mike looks really weird...

oops didn't notice this thread so I'll just post in here what I posted in the trilogy thread.

Mike looks oddly like Billie in the Dos cover.

Yes! At first I thought it was Billie and got really disappointed, but then I looked closer XD The hair up looks so weird

Am I the only one who doesn't mind the ¡Dos! cover? It looks consistent with Uno and the double banner looks sexy as hell. I'm loving It's Fuck Time! It sounds... powerful, energetic and raw! These previews are getting me seriously pumped

I'm having a super shitty day, this is the only thing keeping me from just bursting into tears at this point (and I still have to work later, so I'm nowhere near finished). Anywho, the music sounds amazing and I love Mike's facial expression on the cover. The colors are just wacky, and I'm okay with that. It's weird, I still kind of feel like this all isn't happening. Sure, I'm excited about the new albums, but I should be MORE excited, because this all sounds fucking brilliant. Thanks to this band, I am sane for at least one more day :P

I dont post in the forums as regular as i should being a massive Green Day fan but i follow the news and have my fangirl moments (even though im male) like everybody here haha.

I didnt expect to see a new trailer so soon, so im really hoping we see the "tre" trailer soon. Everything is sounding amazing, super excited for the trilogy, each new piece of information just heightens my excitement.

Also im hoping at some point like a couple of others on here have said that we get a documentary or something. All this footage is just too good not to see. And if one is in the works it better not end up like HLAHG :( Still dying to see that after all these years.

Anywayssss Uno Dos and Tre are gonna be bitchin yooo

I'm in full agreement, guitar sounds are absolutely outstanding. I don't know how many people in America are aware of Arctic Monkeys (my favourite band fwiw) but last year they released a similarly Nuggets-inspired song called Brick By Brick and it's just the most magnificent guitar sound, and the over the top solos just complete it. If Dos! is a whole album of this stuff I could see it rival any Green Day record.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the way the two clips we've heard sound. I like the in your face, compressed, maxed out sound. And these just sound dull. I'm sure it's just because they're just mixes and haven't been mastered yet. So I should hold my reserves until we hear the album versions.

Oooh I hope the one with Mike's hair ABOVE the Green Day words is the real one, because that just looks more professional and not like someone copied and pasted Green Day onto the cover. But then again if they want to band's name to be central...
