If they choose blue for Mike and red for Tré it will look like Pokémon: Billie is the grass started, Mike is water and Tré is fire hahaha My theory is based on eyes color. Billie is green-eyed, Mike is blue, so that's why I think that his background will be blue. And I'm so happy cuz on the trailer he's on pic with hat. And I love him with this hat on head. Or how Billie said, even on cassettes? End this song in video is great! You can stop thinking cause I'm fairly sure that's just the key the song is in. Cause I remember one had Am and I think one had F#. Looks like a lot of these songs will be in A! GuitarPunk94 Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 first thoughts: -cover is epic..like an original punk rock cover art from the 90s (immediately used it for desktop at pc ^^ ) -cover colors are rly eye-catching and colorful..itll be easy to find this album in the shop -billie's smile and closed eyes <3 cant wait for mike's and !tré's! face expression on Dos and Tré -want to know the meaning behind the 'x'-censored eyes ^^ could it rly be just because of the pink bunny?...and i love it that the new songs sound like a mix of the nimrod-era + fbht, so its nice to see that they censored the face again this time like they did with nimrod -got an eargasm when i saw the album trailer with the song in the background, it sounds beautiful <3 especially love the part that starts at 0:22 (all instruments sound awesome, but mike's bass-line there...wow!) -also happy to see a lot of the new songs they played at the secret shows last year on the papers and board shown in the trailer..but still missing some songs like 'Amy..Stray Heart...Amanda', hopefully they will make it on one of the new albums -fbht made 'its fuck time'...i saw GD live in mainz, when they did a cover of fbht's 'IFT' (was awesome <3 )...and now its officially an GD song -so glad the officialy marketing campaign for the trélogy has started...new info's will come fast and soon now ^^ and now im super excited to see what the secret show will bring us.... im sure i forgott to share some thoughts..my mind is going crazy right now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Xs over Billie's eyes are kind of like the nimrod circles over the people's faces. And Billie's face seems similar to his face on the back cover of Nimrod too. But.... I care really little about it. The music I'm hearing in the trailer is great and as long as the music is great they could release an album without any cover and I'd be a very happy girl. And, not sure if anyone's pointed this out already (already had to catch up with 10 new pages in the trilogy thread, won't read all four-five pages of this one as well ), but I wonder if the artwork is a bit a selling technic though... I mean, it's so BOOM! IN YOUR FACE BITCH! that I imagine everyone who walks into a record store and sees the album will do a double take on it and would wonder what on earth it is. Besides, I think an album version might sound pretty dandy I like the song, catchy and it's full of energy and stuff, but i was thinking about things like... A tons of (real) fans like Green Day because of their great lyrics, they say Billie Joe is a poet, and stuff... Listen to any song from any album they've made, it's not only the American Idiot, even Insomniac has brillant lyrics which is not my favourite disc (still love it though). Think about lines like "I'm the son of Rage and Love, the Jesus Of Suburbia." And now, we'll have OH BABY BABY IT'S FUCK TIME. Anyone can see my problem, or am I the only one?
