sassafrasroot
I'm praying they stick with the sidewalk art/graffiti theme. Considering everything they've said about how these albums will be so different from their past ones, I doubt they will go with the graffiti theme again. I also think that doing graffiti would cause people to associate the new albums with 21CB, which is probably not what the band wants. I have loved all of their past album covers (with perhaps the exception of 39/Smooth and Warning). The sarcastic whimsy of Dookie, the bold intensity of AI, the rebellious passion of 21CB... all of the album artwork seems to match the music beautifullly. I trust that Uno, Dos and Tre will have fabulous covers too. I'm excited to see how they will turn out!
DannyDirnt
I have a version of it but the quality is shitty if you want i'll post on soundcloud or something like that Well, if the quality is actually enough to hear how it is I'd like to hear it. Thanks in advance! And I was thinking: If Billie, Tré and Mike all got a Triumph Bike, do you think the cover will be them riding the bike or something? Sarcasm
It would be awesome if a live show started with the guys driving onto the stage on motor bikes.. ._. Engines roar, leather jackets, sunglasses, helmet-hair. And who wishes for more poetry, by Tre?

Sixtrix
Doesn't that just scream Judas Priest? Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't know, for Green Day such an entrance kind of seems silly to me..
jtdscape
And I was thinking: If Billie, Tré and Mike all got a Triumph Bike, do you think the cover will be them riding the bike or something? Haha I highly doubt it. I would be surprised if the guys were even on the album cover.
Sarcasm
Doesn't that just scream Judas Priest? And why is that bad? I didn't mean for all the shows, more as a one time thing at a big event or something. I'd like them to do something they haven't done before, and the jet pack thing is a little to Jackson. I heard Billie crowd surfed on a surf board onto the stage once, but I haven't seen it confirmed by anyone.

Poetry by Tre is the best when you're upset, so it'd be great if he wrote some lyrics again and sang it of course. He's a terrible singer but sometimes I love to listen to him

I wonder if they'll have some 10-minute song again. Worst thing of Nobody Likes You is that it's short.

Heather.
I actually think Tre is a good singer. I love his deliberate accent twang. He's definitely a better singer than Mike
WalkingContradictionPL
He's not that bad. Right. Bieber is worse Well, Tre maybe isn't terrible, he's just specific! This. And I'd love Mike to compose something like "Nobody Likes You" for a song, or even a full song. It'd be awesome if Mike sang a full song. On one video he was singing so there's a chance that we will hear Mike's song.

That could also have been for backing vocals. But I am with you, I am also hoping for a full Mike song
DannyDirnt
I'd just love to go to their concert and have an epic moment to enjoy my idol singing I think something more like "Ha Ha You're Dead" would fit Mike the best.
kellista
that title's pretty random but Soda Pop Curtis just takes the ball for radomness Soda Pop Curtis is a character from The Outsiders. So I think the idea of the song will be similar to Who Wrote Holden Caulfield, Billie describing a character with his own personal traits thrown in. I heard Billie crowd surfed on a surf board onto the stage once, but I haven't seen it confirmed by anyone. The Rev crowd surfed to the stage on a surfboard at one of the Foxboro shows in California in 2008 (one of the shows that they sadly never put the photos up from, so there's no photos of it). Tony and several other GDCers were there and told us all about it so I can confirm it's true! The Rev is a bit more flamboyant than Billie but who knows, maybe if the new album has some Foxboro/rock and roll influence they could get away with a rock and roll entrance
WalkingContradictionPL
The Rev is a bit more flamboyant than Billie Because The Rev is often drunk Well... On one or two videos Mike rides on skateboard. Maybe they will come onto stage in this way? With Green Day everything is possible

DannyDirnt
I think they're taking some kind of cool-guy style this time around. With their bikes and skate, and their cool clothes.
