WhatserKinx
I'm guessing they're close to being finished, but hell, what do I know. My mum's an equally hardcore Green Day fan, so fortunately I'd never get any of that from her. You're so damn lucky, I don't think my family realise my obsession with GD. kellista
My parents are cool. They just deal with my obsession and reference to Green Day a lot for me. I hope we get a video from the first photoshoot or something 'behind the scenes'.
Todd
And when they reease the trilogy I'll be like "I've been waiting a long time for this moment to come" xD now I'm more like "I'm so much closer than I have ever known...Wake up!" hahaha I'm ashamed of my mother she said something I'd never expect from my own mom: "Why do you waste your money buying Green Day's album when you can just download it?". I can't believe she doesn't understand the pride and the satisfaction having the case and the decorated disk and the photos, etc. gives! I downloaded every album and single for free, and then i went out and bought all of them on cd. Just knowing that I have a physical copy, I dont have to worry about losing it, and i can stand there looking at all of my cds, it just makes me so happy. tabbycat1596
^^ Welcome to the forum My mom is somewhat of a Green Day fan, just not obsessed like I am. Photo-shoots were mentioned above. I can't wait for those!

I can't believe she doesn't understand the pride and the satisfaction having the case and the decorated disk and the photos, etc. gives! I'd feel hurt for that too My parents doesn't like GD, but they never said that to me, besides... those are MY savings so I can spend them the way I want. And what better way than spending it on something that I love so much?
Mr.Whirly1988
My mom used to listen to Green Day. My brothers too. Now all I hear from them is freaking pop music or electronic.. I used to listen to pop and crap.. now I listen to RockN'Roll and Punk.. Metal, Grunge.. y'know that stuff.. Stupid irony Anyway.. I don't think I'll ever get a physical copy of ¡Uno!.. I mean, it's sorely times better to have the record itself on your hands but I think it's much easier to buy it on iTunes (I'm not going to download it for free either.. I wouldn't do that to Green Day:) It's just.. I like to have my all my music on my iPod and I never really listen to a CD when I have one.. again, my iPod it's my baby .. but right .. just my opinion
tabbycat1596
You can always put the CD on your Ipod, at least that's how I do it. The CD then goes in the car for listening.
InsideOut
I love having the physical copies of CDs. Listening to the songs off a physical copy just feels so... raw. I don't think that's the word for it though lol, idk. My parents don't listen to Green Day, but I think they definitely understand why I would want to buy an album instead of just downloading it. When they see an album that I don't have yet from a band I like, they sometimes buy it for me. Man, I can already imagine the bus ride to the music store the day that Uno comes out. It will be glorious.

Or on hi-fi system I also put the CD on my smartfon (I'm too lazy to carry phone and Ipod). CD is uniqe! Sound is much better than in mp3 file and it has a booklet. Man, I can already imagine the bus ride to the music store the day that Uno comes out. It will be glorious. I can imagine me driving to the other city to buy Uno. In my hometown there's any music store which has rock records, so I must go 40 km to the next city.
DannyDirnt
Actually I'll put the original CD in my computer ^^ I'll download it anyway so I can put the songs on my phone, for example, an they're easy to carry anywhere ñ_ñ Actually my Green Day absession is somewhat a secret irl, I don't show it often but keep it for my self. So do I with my Mike obsession xD Actually nobody knows I'm bi irl. Only my mom knows I've been in trouble with those things. But hey, I'm going offtopic again. Besides interviews and a single, what would they do before Uno comes out?

But I don't think you can put your songs directly to your phone through iTunes. Only iPods and iPhones. But still, you can put the Uno! CD in your CD drive or whatever, drag the songs to your desktop and then drag them to your phone's music folder, if you get what i'm trying to say here. Only music I've ever had was a Spice Girls DVD my parents bought me in 2000. Then I'll do that. And I'll probably do some Uno owner userbar or something for here. And I'd love some secret shows here. They should totally release something like a DVD of a secret show.
Cris.
Actually my Green Day absession is somewhat a secret irl, I don't show it often but keep it for my self. So do I with my Mike obsession Why do you keep it a secret? Or is it just how it's happened naturally? In real life EVERYONE knows I'm a huge Green Day fan. In fact, when they came to my country, the first news about them possibly playing a show here was a Tweet from the company who brought them, and I don't have a smart phone and don't care much about Twitter, so my friends knew I wouldn't find out inmediatelly, so just about 5 minutes after the company had tweeted about possibly bringing Green Day I had text messages from like 7 different people telling me the news. Lol. By the end of that day I had recieved text messages from over 20 different people, some of them not even that close to me. Anyways, am I the only one who's going sliiiightly crazy about the sudden silence and lack of news? And it's also making me rather anxious, I feel like at some point I'll be offline for a couple of hours and when I come back there will already be 20 interviews, a single, and track list for every album So I've been checking the internet more often than necessary as of late. My friends also know about my obsession. On my 18th birthday I recieved a lot of stuff connected with Green Day. There are two options about the silence: 1) They work so hard and have no time for interviews, videos and news 2) There is a silence before the storm ... Anyways, they keep us in suspense, what I don't like!

Bastard of 1967
They might. They could stay together like the Rolling Stones. Without the change of members of course. Well, Green Day has certainly picked up a few stragglers along the way. We'll still have to wait to find out whether Jason White has actually become an "official" member of the band now, or whether he's just had an uncharacteristically large amount of exposure in the pre-release videos. And if they don't bring Jeff Matika back for the tour I'll be pissed!
