The Trilogy Albums: ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!

Do you mean Billie saying "I'm gonna go take a Lone Star piss?" :P That was just a joke (Texas is the "Lone Star State"), not a song, haha.

I said a video with Lone Star Piss as the tittle of the song :/ anyway I remember that song sounded to me exactly like another,I think it was Stop When The Red Lights Flash (I'm so calling this song SWTRLF when it's released and I talk more about it :P)

About the maths talk,I'm totally distracted in maths, but I didn't even need Green Day for that.Although they help sometimes :) that's why I got a 0,5 out of 10.

I am actually still waiting for an official confirmation from the band about the documentary

Yay! Something interesting to talk about....

I hope this one actually gets released. The work they've put into editing it and the amount of snippets we've seen and the sheer epicness of the trilogy means they should though.

I wonder how they'll release it? Do you reckon it will be as a bonus disc or an entirely separate film?

Maybe comes separate, but who knows?

Wouldn't it be good if each album comes with its own documentary of creation process...? :whistle

I doubt that'd be doable. I guess they probably did it all at the same time, and afterwards decided which song would be on which album, so my guess would be that the process was perhaps too... interwined like to release a seperate documentary for the making of each album. Of course this is just my guess.

I know my thought is just TOO much. Only one documentary for the trilogy is more reasonable. So I really hope they don't forget and release it. :)

But then again, if they would release the documentary as a trilogy as well that would be awesome.

First part: the writing process

2nd part: jamming, recording demos, finilizing the songs and the secret shows

3rd part: in the studio

Of course, there's not doubt it'd be awesome! It'd mean we get more footage, because instead of a 2 hour documentary, we could get three 2-hours docutmentaries, and I'm pretty sure most of us would love to see that much of their creative process. I just think it's very unlikely that it'll happen that way. I just imagine the making of a new album as this huge continuous process in which everything they do is interwined, and therefore very difficult to split into three parts.

But with this band you never know. This is the anything-can-happen band, after all. :lol:I mean, 3 albums! some of us are still in shock.

I think they'll release the trilogy and then, after some months, release the documentary.I'd expect it to come in a pack with ¡Uno!,¡Dos!,¡Tré! and the documentary

^I think it's pretty impossible for them to release it "in pack" with ¡Uno! ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!, since neither these three albums will be released "in pack". Yes, their release dates are quite close to each other, but still they won't come out all at once. I think that if they're gonna release a documentary it will come out after ¡Tré!. That's only my guess though

That was my guess. After Tré is released, they put them together in a pack with the documentary.

Whilst I agree that this thread keeps becoming a spam orgy isn't it okay to speculate or share hopes for the album or whatever? That's basically all that goes on in here apart from spam anyway.

I'm guessing the documentary will be a separate thing, but then again it might come in parts or in a set with the albums once they're out. When Sum 41 released their making of Underclass Hero documentary it came with a special edition of the album which was basically the same thing but just had a second disc with it.

Not that there's any reason why Green Day would do the same thing as Sum 41, but it's just one of the more likely possibilities I guess.

Speculation is great. But when we've speculated about the same thing for 2840963570914672483 times, I think it's time to leave it alone.

I was about to say the same thing. I mean, they didn't confirm anything yet, so all we can do is speculate. What matters is that we keep on topic, isn't it?

The hypothetical documentary would be the one filmed at Webster Hall?

If we wait till Green Day reveals anything, this thread will die in the meantime

Well the topic of this thread is the albums. As long as you stay on the topic of the albums (and also don't keep repeating the same thing) then you're fine. Speculating about a possible documentary with the albums fits into that so I have no problem with it. But you don't need to try and think of things to say just to keep this thread going. The thread can go quiet and come back another time when someone has something to say, it doesn't matter if the conversation stops sometimes.

To reiterate, if you have something interesting/worthwhile to say on the subject of the albums then go ahead and post. But DON'T just post for the sake of keeping the thread going, that's just boring and pointless.

Oh no I didn't mean keep speculating about the same thing, lol, I just didn't know that the documentary had already been discussed, sorry. I'm sick of reading the same thing too, it's definitely better for the thread to go quiet than to keep posting pointless things. A lot of threads go quiet then you know to be excited when someone's posted in them. :P

Didn't they film all of the secret shows? It'd be great to see bits of each one on DVD :D

I haven't seen anything wrong with any of your posts. It's fine to discuss the documentary or anything else to do with the albums as long as the conversation doesn't start going round in circles or start being made up of comments being posted just to keep the thread going.

Yes! But I'd especially love to see the backstage of the NY show: the guys all made-up and dressed for Halloween, just to see something different from a "normal" Green Day gig :)

Oh,so they filmed secret shows too? What an awesome band, man! Did they perform Fuck Time in secret shows? That would give Fuck Time extra points for the album
