The word pit kinda implies mosh pit, cause, well that's what you do in a pit.

If you get close to up front, and the sides, you shouldn't have to worry bout it.

Mh, good point. Dunno, maybe they chose Spanish because more people speak it and they've had Spanish references in their songs before. Plus, there are many Spanish speaking people in California.

yup I would say it's the third one, there are many Mexicans in California I think

I have a hunch (just a completely speculative hunch, but here goes): One thing we learned recently is that Billie just had a new tat inked by Kat von D -- and we found out about this just a few days before news of U-D-T dropped. He seems to often reserve such occasions for something major or monumentous, in that rather than carry pictures, photos, "stuff" as mementos, he literally wears them as part of his body.

So....one such major or monumentous event could conceivably be either iUno! going to master or (here's where my hunch becomes a giant leap) all three albums having been wrapped. Studio time is expensive (even if it's their own home-base at Jingletown they're working in -- you still have to pay for your equipment and your tech crew) so once they get going, they're going to want to keep going and get the job done "sooner rather than later". Thus my guess is that either the first album in the Trelogy is done, or that perhaps all three are finished and the release and promotion timing is going to be marketing-driven from here on out.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: "The 100-level section: where your 20-something ambition meets your 40-something reality!"

That's a very astute analysis. I wouldn't doubt they were very close. Though, when I see the newest videos of them, I still seem them jamming, plugged into mics. Maybe a better idea of what's going on is, they've officially finished all the songs, and are now moving towards recording them. But either way, that would be very exciting!

i've been to Green Day concerts before, but i've never been in the pits!! The words nose bleed makes me scared :ermm: im not the mosher type of person. What's the pit like? SOMEONE TELL ME!

Sometimes it's fine! :) In Phoenix I was up front on Jason's side and it was really calm. But if you're unlucky, up front can be really nasty. I'm pretty strong and good at keeping my balance, but I had to be pulled out in Costa Rica because someone strangled me. Had my passport stolen too. I was directly in front of Billie that time. The only other time I was up front was Manchester LCCC (at Mike's side), that was okay, I was just really unlucky to have an annoying girl who kept pushing behind me. And there were broken noses and legs up in front of Billie, haha.

Don't be put off though. I think as long as you get the barrier or you're pretty far to the side, there won't be a problem. Just be very careful of the second to fourth rows, and don't let anyone get into your spot if you have to make way for someone who's being pulled out. It depends on the size of the pit too, smaller ones are generally less violent. But if you're REALLY scared or you have any doubts, get seats. They're still fun!

Hope that helps. :)

Yknow, I love how the URL for this post treats the "¡" symbol. It's Spanish with a touch of Italian. A'Uno! A'Dos! A'Tre!

I never was in a moshpit at a Green Day concert but I wouldn't say that smaller pits are less violent cause I went to small punkrock club concerts and there it was really brutal

i think it depends on the music and what kind of pit it is. there are the mosh pits and circle pits and circle pits are not very violent...

i was on a metal show in a very, very small mosh pit and it was a little brutal but not much... there were no broken legs or sth like that...

Yeah in clubs it can get really nasty. I saw Sum 41 at a smaller venue and it was super violent. I'd say from experience that in a small pit at a GD show it isn't as bad though, unless you try to get directly in front of Billie.

I don't know if there were any broken legs as well but with brutal I meant that it was to brutal for me that I didn't dare to really join I just stood at the side and "tried" to throw the others back into the mosh pit  and I even got some blue stains

¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tres!...Yay I finally figured out how to do the inverted exclamation point by going to the character map on my computer. I haven't read all of the posts yet (on page 12 currently) but it seems that people want to have Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre. What about Jason? He is in the studio with them and he is being left out of the conversation.

Well, there's a proper way to make them but I don't do it that way. I record from the Youtube video with a program called Camstudio, then I turn it into a gif on Jasc Animation Shop. I don't know if that makes any sense :P

Yeah. I really don't mind you using mine, it was just that I made the other one for someone else so it wasn't fair to her. You can use this one if you want! :)
