sassafrasroot
Hey guys, just noticed this. On the US iTunes store, there are three versions of Uno available for pre-order: deluxe, regular and clean. Personally, I don't care too much. I mean, as long as I have the option to buy the regular, unedited version I'll be happy. However, the idea of them putting out a clean alternative does strike me as a little odd, considering what they went through with Walmart a few years ago. Remember, Walmart refuses to carry explicit albums, and asked Green Day to put out a clean version of 21CB. They responded by saying, "There's nothing dirty about our record... They want artists to censor their records in order to be carried in there. We just said no. We've never done it before. You feel like you're in 1953 or something." What do y'all think? pieterv
Haha, "did I say sexual tension". Edit: Hey guys, just noticed this. I think they're more sensitive to that when they're trying to speak their mind about the state of politics and the media than when they're writing about "sexual tension". It becomes more about censoring the "dirty words" and less about censoring opinions you don't want to hear. I still prefer no censorship though
Red Lights Flash
Since the box set description says that we'll get "three singles", I assume there will be a first round where one 'real' single is released per album (Oh Love being the single with a video for Uno), with probably a second round after that, next year. The other "3-4 song" we'll get to hear before the release of the albums will probably just be lyrics videos, released online.
BringMoreKnives
Shit I hope the box set isn't too expensive.
gdwezrftw
There is a way to buy Oh Love on Itunes. Search "Green Day" and click on the "Green Day" artist button. Then Click on "See All Albums". Instead of clicking on the name of the single, just click buy. It's what worked for me

I think it's odd, considering the whole Walmart thing. I wonder why they changed their minds..... Though it could be interesting to hear a "clean" version of It's Fuck Time. Like what people were saying a few weeks ago, hahahaha!! (Unless they make it boring and turn it into "fun" time or something, lol.)

It doesn't say anything about whether or not they're releasing a clean version of Dos yet, but I'm sure they will if they are doing so for Uno. Malleus
Bundle doesn't really interest me unless "and more" is some sweet shirts or something. I'll just pick them up on release day like I plan and then pick up the DVD.
Raven93
Would you get the DVD separate or do HAVE to pre order the bundle ?
basketcase85
Would you get the DVD separate or do HAVE to pre order the bundle ? I really hope we can get it on it's own, I doubt I can afford to buy it all together. The documentary is one of the things I am looking forward to the most, after the actual albums of course
Trina
Warner owns Atlantic so not like Rob truly left the company in 2009the lol Oh okay well disregard that but it still says he left and then came back.
pucky
This question may be silly but I'm not sure about this. All these advantages of the pre-order (the dvd, the singles, the IC membership...) are limited? I mean, if I pre-order the albums one or two weeks after the 23rd of July, will I still be able to get all those things?

justcause
Glad to see you here! Just gotta say you were SO right in your predictions that Green Day's new direction might be spontaneous and fun and possibly incorporate some of that Foxboro Hot Tubs vibe all the rest of it. So glad you were right!
Ritz
I know its highly unlikely but I hope its not that expensive or I'll be screwed..

I hope that there's not a limited number of copies of this. Especially if they don't announce the price until Monday, because I'll need some time to get the money together... netty
don`t forget, pre-orders aren`t actually paid for until the release date! so you wont need to have the money ready on Monday! payment will be taken either on the release date or just before. when ever they actually send the first album out is most likely.
