WhatserKinx
I'm curious to see the distribution of songs... if it's thematic or what. Because on the one hand, you want the first album to be the best so people will actually want to hear Dos and Tre. But you can't put all your best songs in the first one because then the next two will be flops. But then if you try to make each equally good, you might wind up with 3 mediocre albums. IDK. I'm just being a worrywart. I would like to believe that every album is iconic and that's why they're pulling such a badass, almost cocky move. They HAVE to be super confident in all three of them to do something like this, don't you think? I really don't think it's for the money as someone just said. I don't think they would do anything like this if they had any kind of doubt that it' won't work, I think we're just going to have to trust them until we know more... solongfromthestars
All the songs will be the best. Like I said before, they wouldn't make this three albums if any were better or worse. It'll be really interesting to see, though. I'm not worried about it being crap at all. It's Green Day! I love everyone's new Uno Dos Tre sigs. Haha I know, I couldn't resist making several I have no life. Well, I think I'm just excited, but yes.

DannyDirnt
I don't think they're doing it for money.I have to say I've only known Green Day since February or so,but Green Day,in my opinion, aren't a bunch of suckers.Of course they like money, but they care a lot about fans, not only money.I think they like maintaining fans, and I'd say Billie wants to leave something good when he retires.I mean, sure they still have enough money to lhave an amazing life and never have a regular job. They put a lot effort in making things good and I don't think it's a fair judgement to say they're doing three albums for money. In my opinion,if they're making 3 albums is because they have recorded so many stuff theyw ant to show us that they just can't release such a high amount of songs in one only album. Yes, but here older CD just cost 15 € instead of 20€... not that much of a difference, is it Well,my best friend bought Nimrod for 6'99€ this month

captain peroxide
I don't think Uno!, Dos!, or Tre! will be sold under a lower price because I think they are releasing 3 seperate albums just to get more money, so I bet they will be selling each under the real album price. Yeah, cause that's what Green Day are all about, getting more money.

farley drexel hatcher
Plus there's absolutely no reason you can't download all three albums (on iTunes, amazon) so you're free to then buy any fantastical box set things they might come out with after. DannyDirnt
Well, not to get them so high, but I don't really think they need more money. They sure have anough to have a pretty comfortable life for some years more,I guess.Sure 21st Century Breakdown and their last tour gave a lot of money, and they didn't even have precisely little money back then. solongfromthestars
I think I paid £9.99 for 21CB on pre-order. That's about €11 I think. Not that bad. And of course they're not doing it for money they're doing it because they've got too much great material to fit onto one record.

Oh, true. But AAF was a CD/DVD release. But yeah, normal albums cost more than 12 euros too. I saw The All-American Rejects' new album 'Kids In The Street' for 16.99 so you're right. But after a few days I think they cost 12.

Malleus
i wonder if there´s a main subject on the albums or if there will be a storyline like in AI or 21CB I hope each album has a theme, but not necessarily a connecting storyline. I was thinking that because of the pun on one two three and Tre being sorta the mascot for crazy motherfuckery for the band that maybe all the crazy motherfucking songs about making out and all that other bad ass stuff will be on Tre and the more serious oriented songs will be on Uno and Dos. I have no idea though, they are pretty regular titles so they could just be something to give the trilogy order.
GuitarPunk94
i wonder how this idea of making 3 albums got started..i read the article that they planned sth like this before, after AI..but how was it this time?? did they get to the studio with the plan to make one album but then, in the middle of working progress they decided to make 3 because they just have to much good songs? ^^
stylesmanifest
so since we know about the albums now...does that mean no more studio updates?
Harinezumi
I have to say, I thought it was a joke at first. Three albums in a row sounds like a record company's nightmare. I hope they're as epic as AI & 21CB!!
